Omega Burger

This place is getting worse. They can’t smile, they can’t cook, and they are rude.
I could spend time getting into details but why bother because my first paragraph should pretty much sum this place up!

I hate this place now even more than before when it was Omega.
Warning these people nickel and dime you for everything.
The waitress that works there at night is terrible. No service and rude.
The salad I ordered already cost about $ 8.00. and when I asked for pickle and onions she charged me an extra .25cents for each. Shouldn’t a chef salad come fully loaded.
I told her that for every f*ckin extra thing she charges me for will come out of her tip!
So she can nickel and dime me for her cheap boss or she can earn a nice tip.
Up to her.
Their local competitors are much better, anyone who lives near know the other locals.
Fabulous Grill Sucks.
That is why they are always so slow.
Boss Man, change your staff and stop being a cheapskate because people do notice.

I dunno, someone I went here with was raving about it, but, I dunno, it’s just a really standard fast food burger. Maybe a little bit better. Bacon avocado is a nice touch, but if you’ve had a fast food burger before, you’ll eat a little bit better here.
Sorry Omega, I’m going back to In-​N-​Out. Super cheery service almost deserves an extra star. Almost. Right price to boot.

Went to get a breakfast burrito, and it is delicious! Only bummer is that they ran out of hash browns. .regardless things happen. .staff was friendly and nice!

Burgers and fries are good, but the meat patties are not what they used to be. It’s very thin, and when I say thin, I really mean thin!!!

Worst place ever! First off when ordering from the drive through I get 4 breakfast burritos… then get to the window they want more that what than what they have posted on there menu… the get home and find insect parts in my food!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE IN MY LIFE!

I’m diggin the new look of this long time burger spot in Carson. You can tell they changed the feel of the restaurant to make it look newer. They kept alot of the food I grew on, and the service is what it is good. Thanks omega, for being a reliable spot for lunch, night eats and drunkin hunger missions.

Good well cooked tasty burgers! Always made to order.

I can always count on Omega Burger to deliver greasy, comfort food! I love their carne asada fries. They’re the only burger joint nearby whose carne asada fries include lettuce and tomatoes. It’s also nearby, which makes it convenient. The staff is always friendly. They’ve changed the front of the restaurant. It now reminds me of Foster Freeze in that you can now order from outside of the restaurant. Before, you had to go inside to order. I’ve also talked to the owner before and he’s extremely nice. He’s proud of what he’s built over the years and is still a very humble man.
The inside requires renovation, but I like its old-​fashioned design. It’s an old venue and it’s got history, so leave it how it is. I like how you drive through a cord in the drive-​thru, which is their own form of notification that someone is going through the drive-​thru.
Their burgers are the best here! I don’t know what they do, but I think it’s better than any of the large fast food chains out there. And it’s a lot bigger and juicier! Their fries are crispy and fat and it’s got the right amount of seasoning on it.
I remember before they only accepted cash, but it seems that they now accept credit/​debit cards and without a minimum amount to spend.

I went inside to have a family day and eat but as soon as I ordered and wanted to pay the Very Mean lady said «NO DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS» in a very rude tone! So I left very angry! So about 1 year goes by and thought I’d give it a chance since I herd they are taking debit and credit cards and drove up in there drive through and they had signs all over the place saying we now accept visa, mastercard, and debit! But low and behold, THE SAME LADY SAID THE SAME THING! she replies,” take ur card and go across the street and use there ATM and they charge 2.00 to use!!! Get new ownership or close down!

Today I ordered a turkey burger special and a hamburger special. I asked for 2 little packets of chilies. Usually they never give more than 2 chiles in a packet but today the lady put at least 15 chilies in the bag. Any other day I would have been happy but today I was furious. When I got home, I saw that all the chilies were rotten. My sprite was flat and my girlfriends coke was flat too. I used to like this place but because of this experience, I’ll never go back.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the lady was eating at the window when she was taking my money. I’m all for taking breaks, but be more professional and eat in the break room.

Bacon, Bacon gotta get my Bacon, still down in the Harbor /​South Bay area searching for a good Bacon Breakfast Burrito brings me to Omega Charbroiled Burgers but I ain’t here for no burger…
Breakfast Burrito (Bacon) —
Bacon, Eggs, Potato’s, Cheese and Salsa.
It’s your average size breakfast burrito, it’s made to order and was made fast, Hmmm maybe because nobody else is here besides me. Well upon my first bite I taste what resembles marinara sauce!, what is this a calzone or a breakfast burrito?,
it turns out the mild salsa they use is loaded with oregano, burrito is not very good, lacking bacon, too many potato’s and bad salsa!
Salsa — NO bonus here, actually since they serve Mexican food and have bad salsa I’m taking away .5 star.

Went thru the drive thru to get dinner for my 10 year old. I saw the $ 4.00 kids special. «Corndog, Cheeseburger, Grilled Cheese with Fries and Drink.
me: I’ll have the kids meal with a cheesburger please.
lady: Do you want cheese on it?
me: Yes. Put cheese on the Cheeseburger please.
lady: innaudible
I go to the window:
lady: That will be $ 5.49 please
me: How did $ 4 turn into $ 5.49
lady: With the Cheese
me: It’s a cheesburger
lady: You wanted the kid hamburger
me: Cheeseburger
lady: No, look (shows me her menu) Kids hamburger special $ 4.50
me: That’s not what it shows on the sign
lady: We changed prices
me: you should update your board.
lady: (shows me the menu again) look, it’s right her.
me: ok.
After all that, they forgot to put the cheese on the burger.

When I’m craving a really good freshly made charbroiled hamburger and fries, it’s gotta be Omega, best thing is, it’s right here in Carson, I don’t have to «travel» like I sometimes do to get a decent meal, all the ingredients are freshly cut, fries not made till you order them, I don’t mind the little tiny bit of wait to get good food, I have never had a bad experience at Omega, that’s saying somthing because I’m picky, and Carson has very few really good burger places.

This is one of the WORST Omega’s to go to. Rude employees, cold food, and HORRIBLE service.
I asked for the restroom and the employee sighs, rolls her eyes, and says it’s closed. At 6pm?! She opens it for me only after the fry cook, who can clearly see that I NEED to go, tells her to open it. As she takes me to the restroom she proceeds to talk smack about me, in Spanish, to the crew. «Just because she’s white blah blah blah» I didn’t want to stay after this, but my BF was hungry.
The food was mediocre, not as good as the one in Long Beach. Overly seasoned & overly greasy fries, cold burger, and a poor tostada salad.
I will not be visiting this place anytime soon when I’m in Carson. Go to the one in Long Beach for a better experience.

Omega’s been around ever since I can remember. You can usually find Tom (the owner who’s really Greek) behind the counter. I recommend you call in your order, then pick it up. The burgers are good. The «Family pack» is a good buy for about $ 13.00. The F.P. consists of 4 burgers, 4 fries & 4 fountain drinks.
I wouldn’t recommend eating outside, because it smells like piss.

A little run down, but this place is as good as it gets as far as any grease burger joints! The fries are absolutely awesome with the seasoning they put on, and the buns for the burgers are one of the strong points — very fresh, flavorful and good texture.
The chopped lettuce and onions on the burgers are a great match, my favorite is the avocado burger combo special, which (obviously) comes with fries and a drink.
The drive through is 70’sish, with a beat-​up old Clarion car audio speaker hanging there for you to try to understand when they talk back, but that’s ok, it works. Most of the workers are actually nice and friendly.
Haven’t tried any of the other stuff, but I’m sure the burritos and other stuff are pretty good as well.

Here’s in the Carson, aint no Pinkberry, aint no cefiore, aint no pretty ish like that. Weez got the Omega on the corner of Carson and Dolores in CAR! SON! Honestly, just a little hole in the wall burger place that seems to pop up everywhere in the South Bay.
Now this place is frequented by Carson High School students, dudes who work across the street at the gangsta tattoo parlor, hungover Mexican cowboys from the club just behind this place and by giant Samoans who happen to reside in groves in Carson. Is this the place you want to be at night time? If you’re adventurous and street smart like me. Hell yeah.
It’s open pretty early in the morning and it some of the best, best breakfast burritos in the world. They also serve burgers, chicken and mexican plates. Word of caution, I’ve seen people complain about the some of the food served as being rotten.
So if you’re car is being worked on at the local Midas or you’re getting your car wash across the street, come by Omega Burger, get yourself a breakfast burrito (they serve it all day) and try to avoid the gunfire. If you need a Glock, just contact me :)
