I only stopped here because I was craving chicken and Marjoes next door was inexplicably closed. I ordered chicken with rice and a side of Mac N Cheese. First off this place uses too much salt, everything, the chicken, and the Mac N Cheese was just over salted. The side of Mac N Cheese came in a huge bowl and could have easily fed 4 people. The chicken was okay but once again, over salted. I will never come back to this place.

I live not to far from this louisiana’s and always go there for chicken. We have a Kentucky fried Chicken also in the area but i prefer this one. It is cheaper the Kentucky and just as good. I normally get a 3 piece with fries and ask for extra seasoning. It is a 3 stars out of 5 so i rate it pretty good.

Decent chicken at an inexpensive price. I always order the 2 piece combo with rice and a drink. It comes out to a little over $ 6. The chicken is not bad. Not the best chicken in the world but better then Churches and KFC. They do have other items on the menu but I always get the chicken. Its the reason I come here. If you work in the area i would suggest giving it a try. Order to go, the seating in the restaurant is not too inviting. Basically its a card table with a couple of plastic folding chairs.

You’re better off tasting better chicken at the Louisiana Fried Chicken over in Long Beach next to VIPRECORDS! For some reason, this one doesn’t taste as great! Yes, Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles ISBETTER. If you’re into chicken THATMUCH, I HIGHLY suggest you try the ZESTYWINGS at ALBERTSON’s DELI! YES… I said ALBERTSON’s!!!

Maybe I came in with a little too much expectation, but after talking with an «expert» on Soul Food at my work, I was salivating at the thought of how good this place was supposed to be. What I found was a place that served good soul food, but not the best. Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles still takes top billing for that in LA in my opinion. But I will give this place its due, it’s not bad at all for being a fast food joint. The seasoning in the chicken is different from any other chicken I’ve ever tried. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but it’s very distinct. This location is run by a bunch of Cambodian girls(at least the time I went there), which I thought was weird as hell considering they make soul food. But hey if Mexicans can cook anything why not other ethnic groups too, right? One very positive thing I’ll say about this location, it’s one of the only Louisiana Fried Chickens I’ve seen that’s not in the middle of a ghetto. Just about every other one I’ve seen is in a neighborhood you’d think twice to get out of your car for.
