This is my favorite nail salon. Hands down. I have never had a bad experience here. And I’ve been coming here a long time. When I come I get Jennifer to do my nails. She sits at the first table on the left. And she does great work. I only come if I have an appointment. Because sometimes it can get a bit busy. I’ve had nothing but good experiences since coming here. That’s why I’ve been a customer for years.

Place posted Gel Nails $ 15(and up in small letters). Totally tricking customers. Lady has to fix 4 nails again because paint kept separating. Right thumb was repainted but it kept separating again so I had to go with another color for the thumb. No cheap either.

I have a business across the street so i had a long day and decided I didn’t want to go across town to get my nails done. So i walked in about 615pm. I greeted them because no one greeted me. Nobody responded and just looked at me. So i sat down for about a minute. Another young lady walked in. I assume she is a regular as she called one of the men by his name. And he greeted her and said come on. Totally ignored me. I nicely walked out. Horrible customer service.

I have been to many nail shops this is been the most disgusting dirty place in the world after she finished my nails I seen her put the nail stuff right back in the plastic wrap without washing them she finished my nails in about 15 minutes and they’re wrong we shaped and disgusting looking there’s no polish all over my nail bits and I will never go back there I honestly wish I can give them a negative star or a thumbs down…

I am a loyal customer of Carson Nails. I have been going to Carson Nails for over 15yrs. Jennifer is the best!!! She’s family, my nails, both hands and feet, wouldn’t know what to do without her. My daughter who is now 21yrs. of age, now gets her nails done by Jennifer as well. Carson Nails is like home for us. I appreciate Jennifer and all she does for mines and my daughter’s nail care. Keep up the good work Carson Nails!!!

If I could give a negative star I would. I took my daughter here for gel nails last Saturday. They did quick work as it was not busy and the finished product looked good. However, 3 days later all of her gel nails came off. They use crappy products which don’t adhere to the nails clearly. Typically her gel nails last 3weeks. Even a regular manicure lasts a week at least. To top it all off she went back on Thursday and had the gel nails that peeled off plus the one or two that were barely hanging on and they would not redo her nails. Not even as a color change. They took her $ 15 for gel nails and basically said«f» you! This is the problem with many Asian owned businesses and we keep patronizing them. They don’t stand behind their work or product but they will take your money and tell you it’s your fault if something fails. If your work is good then standing behind it should be no problem for good customer service. As they say, bad service news will travel at least 4x farther and faster than good news. Thank goodness for Unilocal.Buyer beware. I would ask these folks what they will do if your gel polish fails in less than a week? If they don’t offer a refund or Agree to a redo, then walk away. Also, get your receipt!!! I hope this helps someone.

½ star if I could only because the guy was nice and very polite. But MAN are there things wrong with this place I don’t even know where to begin. 1. They don’t have spa chairs. Not to big of deal, until I see their foot stool is wrapped in… TAPE…black masking tape. OK. Well I had already soaked my feet… 2. He didn’t push my cuticles all the way back, didn’t file my toe nails straight… nothing… Just a half ass(if that) pedicure. 3. Only used cuticle oil… To MASSAGE my feet, no lotion just oil… Granted he can give a good massage but I don’t go to get a massage… I go for my feet to be cleaned. 4. My little sister could paint my toes better than this guy! I came home and had to clean around my toes and do my own callus remover, I should not have to do that… Ohh man was I mad! 5… The gel manicure, didn’t clean my cuticles all the way, also filed my nails so carelessly. I don’t know why I let him even continue on to my hands! 6. He didn’t clean around the edges of the polish, which is super important with gel manicures because if there’s any gel on your skin it’s easier to peel and doesn’t last as long. 7. Their polish selection sucks. No good colors at all. Even their gel selection is very limited. I hate mismatched toes and nails but had no choice since they didn’t have ANY polish that matched their gel polishes. Not even close. I went here because I’m moving to the area again and wanted to find new place since my usual lady no longer works where I use to go, and that shop, of course, won’t tell me where she works now… but I can say I will not be returning here. I’ll post pics. Waist of $ 35 dollars. But you live and learn I guess.

Honestly so under rated ! They cleaned my toes beautifully and my toes look amazing for painted on French tip ! I def will be coming back ! Only four starts cause they don’t have comfy chairs and getting a pedicure isn’t as comfortable as other places but quality work

Been going here for many years, even since I’ve moved down to the OC. They recently renovated the shop so it looks much nicer and sleek. Fridays and Saturdays are usually busy so I try to come earlier in the week. Very nice, hard working people. On my monthly trek here I usually get my brows, mani & pedi done by Linda. When I’m looking to get something fancier like acrylic or gel, Jennifer is my go to person.

So I DID notice the faded paint on the logo of the store, I’ll admit it, It looked dingy from the outside but NO, NOO I didn’t let that stop me! Hey! Desperate times call for desperate measures, right? WRONG. So I say«manicure» and take a seat on the dinning room chairs, the woman brings out the water bowl and I dip my hands into COLDWATER, firstly, HOW are you«cleaning» my hands with cold water? and well, how are my cuticles suppose to get soft? LOL, well no worries because this woman was going at my cuticles like she wanted to murder them! LOL. Seriously, it wasn’t funny at the time, I could feel my nails hurt because of how hard she was pressing down on my cuticles. To top it off NOOPI but I knew this from the get go and well, the painting sucks. Definitely not neat and what you expect when you walk into a nail spa, I mean nail shop. Look, I don’t know why I tipped the lady so well, I guess something about her soul, it wasn’t evil as one might perceive… considering she didn’t smile, not even once. I don’t know, she just seemed like a decent person in an awkward situation. Maybe the shop isn’t making enough $ to reinvest in the business or something? Who knows, but if you like to feel amazing walking in and leave feeling relived, in the word of the wise Jay Z «On to the next, on, on to the next.»
