OK. Here’s some real tips. Don’t be a douche here(I have yet to meet one– but just keeping my favorite place douche-free.) Some of the neighbors think that there is too much noise– so keep it down. This farm is super family friendly and never, ever loud… but keep in mind to be respectful of the neighbors. Also, if possible, park at Backwoods brewing(try their beer too) and carpool up to this brewery. There isn’t much parking and minimal cars(for the neighbors) is best. This really is a small gem– it will take effort from all of us to keep it shinny.

LOVED this place. Very good beers made with care and OUTSTANDING, beautiful setting and nice owners. Bare bones, small operation, but done with class and care. What a gem of a location on a hilltop in the woods with a great view of the Columbia Gorge.

This is a fantastic little Brewery and Organic farm that is rustic and friendly. This is a farm with a little tap room offering 5 – 7 different beers on tap. You can fill a grower if you have one, or get a pint. In addition to the friendly atmosphere your can also go watch the chickens and goats while enjoying your beer. The brewer(Brenton), is self taught but let me tell you I would put his beer up against many that I have tasted in the gorge. Brenton is slightly scaled up from a home brewer but he has the taste and skill to make some great beers. My wife is an IPA snob and rated the three IPA’s they had on tap a 7 on a 1 – 7 scale. I tried several of the lighter beers and they were excellent. Besides beer they sell t-shirts, fresh made bread, jams, pickles, they sell farm fresh eggs and other items made/grown on the farm. If you are hiking in the area, or going to Walking Man or Backwoods Breweries and like beer then this is a MUST stop. If you enjoy more of a restaurant type brewery then this is not your kind of brewery. If you like to taste and enjoy beer, as well as hanging out and talk about beer then this is the place for you. They have limited hours Friday(4pm –7pm), Sat/Sun(1−7pm). I will make this a must stop when in the area. –Speed
