Very clean and friendly place. If you love street tacos this is the place to go. 1.49 and worth every penny. I’ve been here several times and each time they’ve been perfect. They take about 10 minutes to get but they’re worth the wait. I’ve also taken home tamales and love the chicken ones. They have fresh horchata, and 2 different juices that vary daily. Like cantelope/papaya and watermelon mango. Always really good and so delicious/fresh. You won’t be disappointed. Also, the dried sweet potatoes are a perfect treat!

For lunch: great place to stop for lunch as everything is fresh. I usually get three chicken tacos which are double wrapped with fresh corn tortillas. As for the supermarket: it is a mexican costco, mean that in a good way! They have a very large selection of meats as well as pre-marinated meats if you like Carne Asada or Pollo Asada this is your spot. The seafood selection as far as Ceviche goes is excellent. Fresh and tasty. Give them a shot!

We’ve been here few times to buy some mexican specialty items that you can’t find in regular grocery stores. The butcher section carries meat you don’t find in American grocery stores such as cow foot, beef tribes etc. Plus they’ve a small café that you can buy cooked food to eat there or to go. Price is cheap to average.

O.K. Fast Forward. As I put in my original post, the store moved across Highway 50 East to a brand new building. Upon entering, I am amazed at how bright the lighting is and how beautiful this store is. Come on… I’ll take you on a tour. On the left, once inside is the«money counter» which does check cashing and transfers of money to other countries, like western union. Next to that is the produce section, which if you ever went to theey old store, you will be blown away. Prices seem ok, I bought limes 12/$ 1.00. Next, the meat section, which is at lease 30 feet long and filled with every kind of meat you can imagine, I bought a whole chicken for $ 6.03 and the thing is a monster. {I am trying a new turkey recipe and i needed to try if 1st on a test dummy} The entire cack wall is drinks, from milk to beer. The entire right wall is bakery, with some real beautiful cakes in the case. After passing the cake area, is the deli case with sliceable meats and cheese. Heres what I find amazing, they have bins of all the mexican cheeses you can buy in bulk and even bulk sour creams, salsa’s pico’s, salads. And I can’t remember what else I am forgetting. Next stop the kitchen, with a big menu of take home items… or check this out, you can eat right there, they have a bar where you can watch the cook with about 5 stools and about 6 tables and a tv on with sports. They even serve beer. Ok.The front of the store has racks of fresh baked cookies, breads and all kinds of sweets. Hey, I only got 1 cookie. The store is beautiful and clean, the prices on all the little«stops» I mentioned seemed to be very reasonable… However, when you walk the nice roomy and wide isles, you see a box of pop tarts for $ 3.29 or the small box of fruity pebbles for $ 4.99.running out of room… go check it out, its changed for the better. luv. it

Video Centro is totally awesome! It is a tiny little market and deli that makes some of the best ceviche I have ever had. They sell fresh pastries, bread(try their bolillos), meats, cheeses and salsas. Their Salsa Rojo is my favorite, not super spicy but very flavorful. A previous reviewer complained about how his burrito didn’t have cheese or sour cream. A quick look at their menu board shows that you can add these items for an additional charge. Their prices are low for standard menu items but you can«modify» your order to your own particular taste. It is a great find in Carson City.

Very authentic, and pretty damn good. It’s a Mexican supermarket and butcher shop, that happens to have a tiny kitchen offering a full menu. I had a chicken burrito, and my wife got two tacos. The burrito was good; but some sour cream and some cheese would have put it in my top 5 burritos, all in all it was good but next time I would try the steak burrito. My wife was happy with her tacos, no complaints or cheers. she was, however, very happy that they asked if she wanted cilantro on them. She really doesn’t like cilantro so that was nice that they are aware not all people like it. Also have a great selection of fresh baked cakes and pastries. They would get 4 stars if they modify that burrito.

Video centro is great!!! They have a wide selection of pre-seasoned meats that you can buy by the pound, and more uncommon foods like tripe and liver. They also have a panaderia that has a wide assortment of bakery items: donuts, cookies, cakes, rolls… Fresh and delicious! Even their burritos, tacos, and tortas tasted fresh and tender. I will say that their cilantro and such could be a little more fresh, however for the price, it was excellent! We got a lengua taco, a carnitas taco, a carne asada burrito, a lime paleta, and horchata for $ 10.51!!! Great deal!!! I absolutely will be going back!!!
