I’m torn between 3&4 stars. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt… First of all, they’ve been under new management for a while now, and even before they changed their name and with the old management, I never had any problems with my account. I did have problems with some of the old staff, but that’s been scrubbed by now. I left the gym for a while, and I came back for a reason. It’s tough to beat an «always open» gym. It accommodates every schedule possible. There are other 24 hr gyms in CC. But, they are either very small, very dirty, or constantly limiting your options in some fashion or form. Fitness 1440, as it is now called, does most things right. I’ll lead into why they got four stars(almost three) instead of higher: — the gym has four benches for bench press and only three bars. — the gym has only one squat rack, while is on rails. — no drop weights(bumper plates) — with a very small amount of money, they could cover the patio. This would make outside activities dramatically better. These are things that I nitpick at. They have the money, they should upgrade. But: — 24 hrs — plenty of room and space — enough equipment to get a thorough work out regardless of what your work outs are like — a new staff, will to help however they can — courteous members, and no so many of them that they’re in the way — It’s not expensive It’s tough to beat the deal.

I moved out of town, and called to ask how to cancel my membership. The girl on the phone proceeded to tell me that I was able to cancel by e-mailing a certain address with some information saying I wanted to cancel. I assumed after I sent the e-mail that it would be the end of it. WRONG. I was charged, and charged again. I called asking to speak with the manager. She is a totally incompetent person. You can never get a hold of her. She rarely returns your phone calls. She wouldn’t accept the blame for the wrong information that was given to me. Even after speaking with her(which I drove to Carson and waited 4 hours for her to get done with her«hair appointment»), she assured me I would be refunded for the months that I was charged. WRONGAGAIN. Even after driving to Carson, she didn’t try to correct the problem. She just blamed it on corporate. Oh, and corporate? Equally horrible customer service. They just tell you that they can’t help you, and you have to deal with it at the specific gym. No one will listen to you. No one will try to help you. WORSTCUSTOMEREXPERIENCE I’VEEVERHAD.
