Dutch Bros Coffee

Please please please come to Reno and Sparks! I can’t afford Starbucks any longer! And I’m from Oregon– so I need Dutch Bros!

This is not one of the better Dutch Bros but I am glad it’s here. I’ve found that the barista’s ask the same questions to make small talk at every Dutch Bros there is. This company trains them to do this. I saw that episode of Secret Boss where it was the Dutch Bros story of the companies rise to fame, they really do pick a certain type of Surfer/​Skier employee. Well the servers are not so over the top forcibly cheerful friendly at this one, but its the coffee that matters not the obsequiousness of the barista. Though this could typically be attributed to the observance that they’ve downed a few too many of their own brew. The coffee here is just slightly better then most Starbucks. It’s not the typical very clear first sip of «What the hell do they put in their coffee to make it this strong yet smooth?», lovely tasting liquid crack experience I’ve come to expect from Dutch Bros.

Basically the best coffee place in Carson! The staff are super friendly and laid back. There is a reason this place is always busy no matter what time of day! I love the atmosphere here and the prices are much cheaper than Starbucks

I went here for the first time today and was very impressed! I usually drink my coffee black and I hate the sugary drinks from starbucks so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I tried the Kicker and it was the best I’ve ever had! Definitely the best service I’ve ever revieved also!

This is the best coffee in town. Service is always impeccable, friendly make you want to go there. Prices are very reasonable and I love the stamp card program they have buy 10 coffees your 11^th is free. Highly recommended

My review is based on several visits (100+) to this Dutch Bros. location.
I have not had one bad experience at Dutch Bros. and that’s how every business should run! The employees are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about their company and how they should run it, together. If the line is long, they send an employee out to start taking orders from the cars waiting in line. I love this! They can get the drinks rocking and by the time you get to the window, you pay, get your card stamped and zip away. Did I mention even when they get you through that quickly they STILL greet you with a smile at the window? So many places rush, rush, rush and they forget that you’re still a customer. Or they think that the other person taking orders greeted you and that was sufficient. Not Dutch Bros! They make sure you feel important and each person acknowledges you. I’ve had many an interesting conversation in just my few minutes wait.
My kids usually get the children’s smoothies or the «not so hot» chocolate, which is still hot chocolate by the way, it’s just not blazing hot (I thought it was chocolate milk at first by the name, but was assured it was indeed hot chocolate, LOL). Extra whipped cream! I generally get the 911 or the Carmelizer, iced. My husband gets the blended drinks in different varieties and everyone has been pleased with the exceptional quality, flavor and overall deliciousness of the items we order. If I could recommend anything at all, and I know it’s a small location so it probably won’t happen, but a few more selections or all together different baked goodies throughout the week. I am a baked treat lover and I find myself not getting the options offered because they’re limited (which could be a good thing LOL) but then I stop for a treat elsewhere (which is not as convenient because it’s not drive through like my DB ;)).
If you’re looking for a delicious pick me up and still crave the friendliness of the employee who is helping you (has this requirement just been lost these days or what?), go to Dutch Bros., you won’t regret your visit! I like to pick up their seasonal coffee cup too, which is always a fair price, super cute and gets your drink discounted on future visits when you bring it to use (which I hardly ever remember but they’re still cute!).
Oh one more additional snippet — I love that DB is so willing to pair with the community and help local causes/​issues/​programs. There have been numerous occasions that all or part of my purchase was going to benefit someone other than themselves. This business is an asset to our community as they’re not out just for number one and their profit. No wonder their employees are so happy, they’re actually appreciated instead of just a paycheck.
Also, love that DB opens at 5:00 am and stays open until 11:00 pm. I have never understood coffee joints that open early but then close early. I’m a night owl and generally speaking I need my coffee late at night too!

This is my one and only place for a mocha!!! The owners Andy and Jill are the most awesome people you’ll meet. I have been going through this place since the day they opened in Carson City. Love that they also donate to local groups and charities in our area. I will forever love DutchBros!

Love Dutch Bros! Good sizes for the price! Way better than Starbucks for sure. The employees are super friendly and talk to you while you wait for your drink. I make the trip to Carson City just for a drink here.

Totally had low expectations and was completely blown away. Wish we had these things in more populated parts of California in lieu of Starbucks!!! Touché, Nevada. Touché.

Max and I absolutely love this coffee! We make special road trips to Carson just to get it! Not only is the drive great, but this place has memories from when we first started dating!
The staff who works there is always ready to help with a cheerful demeanor. I don’t know anyone by name, and can’t point anyone out specifically, but they all do a fantastic job. They are always efficient and get coffee out in a speedy manner, but still at a slow enough pace that they can get to know you.
There’s always been a line when I’ve gone, but it’s so worth the wait!

I love their coffee here. I usually just get the regular cup of coffee and it is good. The reason why I buy just a regular cup is because a cup is the base line. If there regular cup of coffee isn’t good then usually everything follows. But I like they are on point and you can taste the boldness of this coffee. Very strong flavor and really taste that roasted coffee bean. Mmmm! I love it. Oh can you tell I like coffee. Well maybe just a little.
The staff is very friendly and are very attentive to your order. They are that friendly that you might just make a friend. But anyways they have 2 drive up windows and a walk up window as well. During the busy hours there will be a line but no worries the line goes by fast. So don’t be afraid to wait because you won’t wait very long.
Their selection is good as well. They have items from coffee to smoothies. I would definitely return for more. Thank you for reading my review.

The Cocomo is delicious. This place has such great positive energy. The staff seems to always be having a great time — working. It’s a treat to drive by and grab a NF, Sugar Free, Tall, Iced Cocomo. Yum.

I stopped in there tonight, my first trip to the Carson location, and it was totally as amaze-​balls as I expected. My iced dirty chai was worth driving to Carson for. I have no idea the name of the bespectacled gentleman that helped me but he rocked!

What a wonderful experience. I didn’t expect Dutch Bros to be a drive thru. I was hoping to get some work done and get caffeinated up. Once I realized working was not in the cards I embraced the Dutch Bros experience. I had heard rave reviews about their coffee so I was excited. There is a drive up on both sides of the little shop. The service was outstanding. Everyone inside was hustling about. Everyone was smiling and having fun and super efficient. When I mentioned it was my first time the gal told me she hopes to see me again and gave me an almost full punch card.
I was really so impressed by the visit and their coffee was really yummy and their prices kill the competition. I will stop in on every visit to Carson City… it was that good.

When in the mood for a sweet, iced coffee sort of drink, this place is excellent. I generally get the cocomo, which is a chocolate and coconut iced latte. Sweet, rich, smooth, well-​balanced, and pleasant. The baristas are usually rocking out to the music blasting inside. Everyone is friendly and happy. And it’s a philanthropic company, I like to support a company that does good.

So glad I can count on some Dutch Lovin’ when I am visiting the parents! Well it’s not super close to them but I can grab some on my way to and fro. These guys know how to make coffee and have fun doing it. Originally an Oregon outfit, it’s run by an environmentally conscious family who prides themselves on having kick-​ass employees who love doing what they do!
You’ll always get a smile while strobe lights and club music fill their little hut. Yeah it’s a good place. Oh don’t forget to get your card punched, you can use it at any of the locations :)

Not only was the coffee amazing but the service was fantastic. We walked up to the window to order and were greeted by blasting Katie Perry music that made us dance right there in the parking lot. It was a lot of fun. The service was so fast and very friendly. You can tell that they enjoy what they do. Never ever thought I would dance while waiting for my coffee drink. I had the chocolate coconut coffee drink which was heavenly and my friend had the ER 911 which has six shots! He is a huge fan and said he always gets the best service and has never been disappointed.
So… Dutch Brothers when are you coming to Reno???

Just had my first taste of Dutch Bros. and my whole day is looking up! I have to say one of the best coffees I have tasted! No other words needed.
The staff was super friendly, with big smiles and positive attitude. They were rocking it hard inside that little house. Although I’m not a big fan of hard rock, something about today made me need the help to get going and it just happen to work. ROCK ON IT IS!!!
Back to the coffee I am so indulging in at this moment, man that’s yummy. I hope it gets me going, but only time will tell.
Now how to find a Dutch Bros. in California!!!
