Unhelpful and unfriendly. I need assistance understanding the size of storage I need and they basically shrugged their shoulders at me. They didn’t have a space available for the day I need and I asked about a neighboring uhaul storage. They told me to go there or call them«I don’t know their availability». So unhelpful! Not even a smile out of the two folks. Thanks for NOHELPATALL and I’ll definitely not be using your neighboring uhaul after this lack of service.

The nicest u haul place I’ve been to. I just dropped off here on Sunday and they had a line of people dropping off but I didn’t have to wait at all. Everything was streamlined. I went inside the place to throw some trash away and the inside was very nice with friendly people. It was clean and they had a large inventory of items you could use for moving.

I had the U-Haul in Addison install a tow hitch on my 2002 Ford Ranger. Overall, I had a great experience here and would highly recommend them! Although the hitch took a couple extra days to get here, the shop had great communication throughout the whole process. The install was done very quickly in about an hour or so. It turns out that my truck was already pre-wired, so they were happy to refund the cost to do the wiring. The manager and staff are friendly and I would not hesitate to go back here for anything U-Haul related.

Check your vehicle. Again with feeling — check your vehicle. I rented a 26 foot truck recently, only to have a blow out on 635 heading east out of Dallas — after 5 hours of repairs, 2 hours of which were spent waiting for the Rapid Response — Road Side Assistance, an hour for the repairs, and 2 hours getting tires and a wiring harness replaced I was back on the road. 3 of the 6 tires were either bald or were worn and needed to be replaced — the blowout caused the ABS light to stay on. The head light and turn signal indicator harness was ripped from the under carriage — the turn signal bracket and housing had to be completely replaced — the tire was ripped to threads, and the others were not in much better shape — Supposedly the head mechanic that does the preventative maintenance inspections said when I made it to the U-Haul facility that he would not have let this truck on the road with the tires that were on it. It is a good idea to walk around the truck checking the tires, and any previous damage. Make sure you ask where all of the safety feature are and how they work — You should also, check the date that the vehicle was last inspected. If it has been more than 3 or 4 months, ask for another vehicle. Oh and if you are hurt or in an accident that was caused by U-Haul in any way such as brakes failing — a blowout — or anything that could have been avoided with proper maintenance by U-Haul — you’ve effectively signed your rights away and are left only with arbitration — As a consumer, an individual seldom wins arbitration against a mega-million corporation, regardless if U-Haul is at fault, so the old adage of Buyer be ware hold true.

Need Propane tanks refilled? Go here! They charge buy the volume not by the tank. Only way to go. You can even get your Blue Elephant tanks refilled here at a much better price.

Our move was from San Antonio to Dallas. We rented a trailer on Saturday December 28th, in San Antonio, paid in cash and was told it was a 3 day rental. We turned it in on the Monday the 30th in Dallas. Today is January 21st. We checked our bank account and was charged $ 124. We called and was told we didn’t turn it in until January 6th. On the 30th, my wife went to drop off the trailer on Beltline in Addison. The guy at the store was by himself and could not get the trailer off our truck. He sends her to the Beltline store in Carrolton. She takes it to the other store and drops it off. We have called twice in the past 5 days and have only been told, «We’ll have to look in to it.» The service in San Antonio was great, but not at this store. We are still out $ 124.

Dropped off truck only to find out I was going to be charged an extra $ 50 for an hour past the time due. BEWARE. If you are a minute late to drop off a rental, you will get charged for an extra rental day plus insurance. The mgr will say the computer cannot be adjusted for charges due to drop off. That is NOT true. All U-Haul locations can manually adjust a charge. I verified this by contacting several other U-Haul locations.

How do I give NOSTARS? This location damaged my vehicle helping my fiancé load it onto the auto transport, acted like it was no big deal, and forwarded me to the 800 number to file a claim before letting us drive off without properly strapping my vehicle to the auto transport(they didn’t chain the tires). Now I’m fighting with claims because the coverage I paid extra for doesn’t include load or unload damage, even in the event Uhaul is at fault for the damage, so I have to get Multiple estimates to submit for Review although the claim representative made it sound like seeking reimbursement was hopeless. I WILLNEVERTRUSTUHAULAGAIN.

At check-in Euchele(sp?) was awesome. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. At checkout, Barbara was also very friendly and checkout was a breeze. This place is rated 4.5 Stars(providing/offering some nice cold water after a long hot day of moving would have gotten 5 stars). They made my move process which is always a horrible experience at least a good one from the rental stand point. Great Job to you.
