Love Joy’ s bikini wax at Silk nail and spa. Joy is the best person who’s been doing my bikini wax for years. Recommend her especially for deep bikini wax or Brazilian wax with pain free.

Went in for a basic full set of pink & white. I was told they don’t offer that, only clear acrylic. What?!

I drive from Dallas for 28 miles to go to this place
They are clean, efficient and do a very through job

I want to respond to Alice C. your skin color sure is different from your hands to your toes?! Or is it the staff who put this comment on here being the toes are a pic of my sisters??! FYI we no longer use this salon because of the crappy customer service that came with change in ownership. At least be honest!

I came in ³⁄₁₇ for a last minute nail emergency. My regular guy at another salon I go to was off so I opted to try a new spot.
I am not lying when I say that I arrived at 5:15pm and did not leave the place until 8:30pm.
All I got was a new set.
I will not name the person that did my nails, but she seemed very nervous and inexperienced.
Her applying the powder took an hour or so itself. My nails were bumpy and uneven and of course, if I am paying $ 50, I made sure it was corrected. the best it could be!
One name I will blurt out there is Julie. I think she saw my frustration with the lady doing my nails and she walked over and started helping. Julie was wonderful at assisting.
In the end, my nails came out ok. They were still bumpy, length uneven. But what are you going to do?! I was tired and wanted out!
Fast forward to 3/​23, 6 days later. I was missing one nail (due to it popping off) and had 4 other nails lifting. NOT OK.
I didn’t even bother to go back and get them fixed. Just because of the quality of product and service I originally received and because I didn’t want to sit for another 3 hours.
2 stars because Julie was so sweet and friendly. If I do decide to give this place another chance, I’m making an appointment with her!

silk nails has become my go-​to nail salon. out of the 4 times i’ve been here, they’ve always been flexible and helpful. they prefer that you make an appointment beforehand, which i was unaware of my first time here, so they had to call the manicurist (k) back in right as she was walking to her car. i felt so bad because she had to stay another hour…
since then, k and i have developed a friendship of sorts and is the absolute best manicurist i’ve had to date. she is meticulous, very friendly, and gives her honest opinion about whether she thinks my nail designs will look good. so far, my manicures have ranged from $ 35-​$ 65 (excluding tip), which is pretty reasonable for gel nail art. i haven’t tried their other services, but i imagine they’re good quality, too. i’ve always left a very happy customer and am so very pleased that i no longer have to search for a nail salon — i will most definitely be back (probably in 2 – 3 weeks after the gel manicure starts chipping)!!!

I was in town visiting my parents and needed an NYE manicure. I called and was able to be seen within 10 minutes of calling. K worked on my gel/​no chip manicure and it has been one of the best I’ve ever had! And it has lasted quite a bit longer. She was great in using tools when removing my previous no chip and my cuticles looked great. She recommended a combo sparkly as accent nails and it looked fantastic. If I could afford it I would fly in every time I needed a manicure, unfortunately I can’t. The next time I’m in town I will definitely stop in. Thanks K!

Never again in Life will I go here again…
I wanted the powder put on my own nails. I explained this to Joy.
She told me NO, three times, that my nails were fine.
I was picking out nail polish and she told me NO, go pick out a gel polish.
After her painting my nails, I asked to have one little painted Christmas tree on my nail. She told me that she was going to do my index fingers and I said I didnt want that, 3 different times.
She did it anyway.
When checking out she informed me it was $ 37… She painted my nails for $ 37. I left a $ 5 tip, she did good work, but didnt do as I asked and refused to give me what I want. I was a long time customer, but I am done. Seriously? $ 37 to pain your nails?
After heading back to work, it sorta bothered me that I just paid $ 37 to have my nails painted.
I called and spoke with the Manager who acted like I was bothering her…
She explained to me that I got a gel manicure and thats $ 30.
I never got a manicure, all I received was my nails painted and thats not even what I went there for.
I hope they enjoy the money cause I will NEVER be back.

K is an awsome nail artist. Her work is very neat and high quality. Try out, you will never regret. I recommend her 200%!

I love this place especially Julie. She’s my gal! I do gels and pedicures… she is quite the artist too. I love having art designs on my nails. I look up on line and find just what I am looking for then she copies it to perfection! Quality work!!!

K did my manicure and pedicure. She is so amazing. All staff in the store are very friendly. I love the design of my nail so much.

Before going to the beach I had my pedicure done here with Joy. She was so nice and did a fabulous job. I was so happy with my toes at the beach!

I did not like my nails, I asked for a squaletto tip. But got an ugly squared one.
Seems like I should have booked an appointment with Aris.

I came in hoping they have eyebrow threading but they do not. One of the employees however assured me that their wax is very gentle for sensitive skin.
A very excited Korean woman named, Joy, did my eyebrows and it was hilarious because every time she was about to rip off the strips she would say, «readddy!!!» And when she yanked it off she’d go, «crooooom…» I don’t know why I laughed so hard when she’d make that noise. Very cute.
She made a great shape but didnt trim it. Once I got home and upon closer inspection, I noticed a lot of stray hairs as well.

I am very happy with my nails but my toes never chip but I came here and it already chipped after a week. My big toe all the paint peeled off and there are chips everywhere.

I tried Silk Nails and Spa for the first time today and was very impressed. Helen took the time to ask questions about what I wanted and encouraged me to let my natural nails (in very bad condition) grow out without acrylics. The gel french manicure I got was the best I’ve ever had. Helen’s attention to detail and care of my nails was excellent. I will definitely go back, and highly recommend Silk Nails and Helen!

Great customer service and reasonable prices. Ask for Blair — she did my gel french manicure just to my liking! They have a wide variety of nail products and colors! I will be a frequent customer for sure!
