Serenity Nails & Day Spa

One of My favorite nail salon. You can literally go to almost anyone and walk out with good looking nails. I think if anyone has a bad experience I suggest going back and giving it another try. I’m very picky about my nails. They are most def one of the best.
Update: I went yesterday to get my nails done and I picked out a color that was a little to light and I didn’t like it but the nail tech kept going saying the usual one more coat it will look better. Well it didn’t look better and she looks at me and says «Normally your people like this color» I said what? And she goes your people normally like this color and black people like this color also. I was very taken back as she doesn’t even now my ethnicity. I’m half black and half white, which I’m sure she thought I was Indian. Lol just not very professional but there nails are still great.

Dora does wonderful job. Always happy with the results. Next Gen dipping nails last. Love them.

I moved here from Chicago last month where I got my nails done at the same place for 18 years. I am very particular about my nails so finding a good nail salon was very important. I read the reviews for Serenity and especially Dora. I had Dora do my nails and they are fabulous. Dora was so nice and professional and I loved the atmosphere in the salon. I would 150 percent recommend this salon but especially Dora.

This is my second review for Serenity and I like to post reviews for companies that deserve the recognition. I have been using Dora as my nail tech for almost 7 years and she is the best! She always does a great job and her attention to details is impeccable. I wouldn’t use any other company for my mani or pedis. Pricing is very reasonable and I highly recommend this establishment! T

I have found my new place! Desperate for mani/​pedi, I read the other reviews here. Took a chance that they might squeeze me in. They were able to and then some! I went for the Serenity mani and pedi. Pure bliss! They even arranged for Mimi to wax my brows. I am extremely picky about this. Mimi is terrific! Everyone here is wonderful. I have passed this salon dozens of times. So glad I gave it a try. I have already booked my next appointment. Looking forward to becoming a «regular» here.

I had heard good things about this place so I decided I would give them a try. I walk in and it’s not busy — I ask if they do Next Gen Nails and am told that they are to busy and wouldn’t be available for an hour and then walk away. No offer to take my name so I could come back, no offer to make an appointment for another day. I just walked out completely appalled. I will not return. I went across the street and got an amazing Next Gen manicure by people who actually appreciate and value their customers.

I get a pedicure here faithfully. The ambiance is amazing and the customer service is great. I’ve had different people each time I have gone. They each do an exceptional job and are very friendly. The prices are reasonable as well.

Is this place called serenity or surrender because when I walked in there I almost gave up and left after 10 mins. Horrible service, false pricing, lady messed up my nails and on top of that she said she didn’t have time to fix it. Will never come back here. Only plus is the atmosphere. Came here for a special occasion and they ruined the experience.

Came here 2weeks ago. I had A French tip pedicure, which still has not chipped. I also had a gel polish manicure, which has not chipped or started to peel. They still look great 2wks out even tho they are grown out. Also, they were able to schedule a group of six manis/​pedis very last minute. We called only a couple days in advance. We all were worked on side by side at the same time, which was nice.

Today was my first time visiting Serenity. I came in for a pedicure and was not disappointed at all! I chose the serenity pedicure and Tammy did an amazing job with my toes and the massage was simply amazing. It was actually the best massage I have ever had. The atmosphere is quite pleasant with very relaxing instrumental music playing. The people were all very sweet. I can’t wait to come back. Go here!!!

My go-​to place for a long-​lasting, well done manicure and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is always very accommodating and willing to try new things with my nails.

I think this is the best place that I have every gotten my nails done at. I really like the way they give you a mani pedi. My favorite part is when the ladies wrap a hot towel around your arms and legs, it is so relaxing. For an awesome mani and pedi it is about $ 45 (without tip). They have a variety of colors, and my nails always look awesome afterwards. I would really recommend this place. The guy that manages or owns this place is very nice as well.

I am not one to write reviews because I always feel that your experience somewhere varies each time. But this place is my favorite. The feel of it inside is very relaxing, quiet, and calming. They recently remodeled the inside to resemble a little village and it’s the perfect touch to the serenity relaxing vibe. I will only get acrylic nails put on here because they look very natural and whoever does them always make sure they look great and aren’t uneven or too thick. The nail techs are all polite, making sure you’re satisfied, have a drink, and the manager is always nice as well. I recently took my boyfriend here for his first pedicure and he liked it! If you’re looking for a new go to spot this is it. This is the kind of place that makes you not want to try other saloons!

My favorite salon in Carrollton. Very clean, they autoclave all the tools. Reasonably priced, great location. If you live right near buy, call before you head out on a weekend and ask Michael when he can fit you in. He’ll also match a polish to match your toes if you want to do gel mani. They’re renovating right now, can’t wait to see the upgrades in about 2 weeks!

I moved here a couple months ago, looking for someone to do my nails has been tough!!! But Serenity is close to my house and had some good reviews… Amazing job! The interior is beautiful. Lee did an amazing job on my acrylic nails, even hand painted a Christmas tree and snowflake for the holidays. Helen, did my pedicure. She has magic hands!!! Loved the whole experience. And the pricing was completely reasonable. I will be going back for sure.

Very calm and serene environment. Perfect place to go and be able to relax. I love that they do not allow cell phones to be used to ensure the «serenity» of their salon. Great customer service and the technicians are all awesome. It is a little more pricey than other salons in the area, but definitely worth it. I broke an artificial nail the day after getting them done and they were more than happy to fix it free of charge.

I was in search of a decently priced nail salon to get a way overdue pedicure. Serenity had a good price and had some good reviews online so I figured I’d give it a try. I walked in and was immediately told that they were currently booked and I was asked if I could come back in an hour. I said of course! Nothing worse than having to wait an hour with the impression that I will be seated soon so I definitely appreciated the upfront honesty.
I was immediately seated when I came back at the designated time. The pedicure chairs were equiped with the standard massages. The attached tubs were a cute clear peachy color. While they were working on beautifying my feet, I looked around the shop and noted that the décor was kept simple and the walls were painted a light blue which gave it a nice calming vibe.
The pedicure was a very relaxing experience with no one asking me if I had a boyfriend or where I’m from and there was no sales pitch about upgrading the pedicure package. My legs and feet felt very soft afterwards and I can once again wear opened toe shoes without worrying about anyone seeing my feet.

From the outside this is your typical strip mall nail salon, its pretty unassuming and right next to the Kroger on Old Denton and Hebron. But don’t be fooled, Serenity is anything but typical – it is fabulous! This is THE best kept secret in nail salons… I almost don’t want to write this review because it will be even more flooded with mani/​pedi junkies (like me).
Unlike the typical strip mall nail joint, Serenity is beautifully decorated and designed in soothing aqua and browns, and there is always relaxing music playing. The owner, Dora, is always there and she and her staff are super friendly and warm and they do their best to either not talk to you if you don’t feel like talking or have a nice conversation if that is what you prefer. They keep banter between the nail techs to a minimum, making for a very relaxing and serene environment. Probably like other women (and men) out there, I have been to lots of strip mall nail places and nothing comes close to Serenity for price, experience and the quality of work. Luckily I live about a mile from Serenity, but even if I lived far away I would still make the trip.
I always get the mani/​pedi and have never been disappointed. Once in a while I get an eyebrow wax and they do a nice job as well. Obviously if you try to go on Saturday you’ll need to call ahead for an appointment, they are always super busy on Saturdays. However, if you call ahead even with 30 mins notice they really try to get you in as quickly as possible. Every other day of the week you are probably fine to walk right in. I pay about $ 45 for the mani/​pedi but they have less & more expensive options.
If you want a true spa experience without the true spa price, definitely try Serentiy. You won’t be disappointed.
