Well I always said the worst thing Ruby Tuesday’s could ever do would be to touch their salad bar. Well, what do they do. They introduce the new salad bar and to put it mildly, I hated it. From the salad dressings to the pasta salad. When you get honey mustard and it tastes more like a sour & spicy sauce it’s not a good thing. I seriously didn’t taste anything like honey or mustard. The only new items I liked are the fresh fruit, the chopped cucumber, and the carrot sticks. The pasta salad was absolutely terrible, it tasted like I was eating an entire herb garden and nothing else. I love herbs but they have to be used correctly. I could go on describing every new item I tried, but I don’t have all day. Service was good and everything else, as in past visits. Unfortunately I will not be eating at Ruby Tuesday’s any longer, because the main reason I ate there was for the salad bar and I would never pay for the current salad bar.

The food was cold and dry. Service was slow but good. The bathrooms were unacceptable. I am not happy at all with the price I paid for the food. And lastly the margaritas were the worst I’ve ever tasted In my life.

Ruby Tuesday finally got it right. They are running away with Carrollton business since O’Charley’s made a really bad decision to redecorate and remove all the hometown feeling and look more like a Shoney’s. Great coupons from Ruby Tuesday and the new waitress Becca is probably the best waitress we have experienced in a while. Plenty of healthy choices to choose from.

Food was excellent, fast courteous service. If you are in Carrollton stop by and they have some great mixed drinks

The staff was uncommonly nice, which was a great refresher on our long trip. The manager(Bruce) chatted with the kids & every single employee was extra friendly. The salad bar was fresh & delicious, the kids meals were plentiful, and the other food we ordered was gourmet. Our family of 7 ate for about $ 50.

I tried the full slab of ribs and was very happy with the flavor and tenderness. The salad bar was a little small for the price but all of the food was good and the service was fast and friendly.

Had Valentines Lunch with my Valentine yesterday. Great salad bar, I usually make 2 trips and eat too much. My favorite dish there is the Parmesan Shrimp Pasta. It’s a little spicy, I like that, has lots of shrimp and is delicious. Highly recommend it. Service was excellent, everyone very friendly and polite.

Ordered Carolina Chicken salad to go. Didn’t look in the box til I got home. What I got was limp salad obviously from the salad bar and some chicken tenders — not the salad I ordered!

This is probably one of the dirtiest Ruby Tuesdays I’ve been to. Service was ok.

Since we’re from out of state we went into Ruby Tuesdays looking for a quick bite to eat from a *known* entity. All I can say is meh – food while not totally wretched was bland and lukewarm. Service was ok but not stellar(we were looking forward to the rumored friendliness of Georgians) — was promised biscuits at the beginning of the meal, but we had to remind our server to bring them. They were as hard as a rock and cold even though our server explained their absence on the time needed to cook them. Will be relocating to this area and will not go back.

The Ruby Tuesday in Carrollton is actually a very nice restaurant inside and out. With a stucco and stacked-rock exterior and high-end casual interior it looks and feels great. And that’s why we wish the food were better. While their salad bar is probably the best in town, the steak, seafood and pasta need work. The lobster tails are often over-cooked and consistently small(they’ve actually put three lobster tails on my plate the last two times I ordered steak and lobster rather than the two pictured on the menu). The steak is just OK and the menu needs a filet mignon. Pasta and chicken can be hit and miss and might be good one time but poor the next. Sometimes it feels like there is a disconnect between the picture in the menu and what we get. My wife and I have been eating here while they run their Buy One Get One promotion but unfortunately the menu doesn’t translate into a culinary experience that would bring us back otherwise. This isn’t a problem with this specific restaurant but with the chain as a whole. Judging from the stock price(RT) over the past two years others must agree.
