While they are students and the result might not be completely perfect, I looked up the price of a regular salon for a balayage, and it was about twice what I paid. Dakota was my stylist, and she was nice and I like the result of my hair. My hair is dark brown and very long, so it took a lot of lightener to get it to the color I requested. I liked that they guided you through the prices and options to make it cheaper. The instructor would pop by every few minutes to make sure it was going smoothly, which I appreciated.
My friend is a hair stylist and she said for a phase one or two, Dakota did a great job. My one thing is that some of the top pieces were copper toned do I had to get done purple shampoo to tone it down into a dirty blonde color. Still working on that, but I think overall I’m happy with the result.
Tip: If you’re coloring your hair lighter, it’s more expensive if your hair is longer, so consider doing a balayage.
