As I have read in previous reviews. This place has gone way downhill over the years. We used to go here once in awhile now we will never be back. Last time we were there service was terrible(we didn’t have«The American girl») we had a Japanese lady. The food was not very good and there’s a lot better Japanese Steakhouses here. Did not witness the manager but after their reviews, i’m glad I didn’t. One thing that made us a little mad was. We had a gift card and also paid cash for our bill. Well apparently we were one penny short and the waitress came back asking for the penny. I’m sorry, but what kind of normal waitress would come back asking for a penny?! It’s just weird.

Decent location. Wait staff are pleasant. Sushi bar is small. It’s more about the hibachi. Have not tried that side of the house. Sushi was good. Standard Americanized sushi rolls.

Pros: The food is very good, the hibachi is fun, especially with big groups. Service is always great. Pretty good prices. Cons: the sushi tastes weird and just overall not good. Not the cleanest place ever. Me and my family go there once a year for my cousins birthday, and it gives us all terrible diarrhea, every single one of us. Osaka and the effect it has on all of us is actually a common joke in our family. But hey, maybe a colon cleanse is a good thing to some.

Terrible service!!! I Was extremely offended by the attitude of the manger as well as the poor service of the almost nonexistent staff. Don’t waste your time at this restaurant just go across town.

I have been to Osaka a few times and each experience has ranged from mediocre to unpleasant. Until now. Last night was appalling. With the exception of the entertaining hibachi chef and good fried rice(which he obviously prepared), this place is a trainwreck. From the lack of atmosphere, to the service staff that doesn’t want to be there, to the tasteless and arguably spoiled sushi rolls, I’m honestly surprised this place still exists. However, by far the worst part of the evening was the customer service, which was reminiscent of Dave Chapelle’s painfully funny bad customer service skit. Our server, who looked stressed and scared the entire night, told us during our dinner that she had been singled out by the manager as a «stupid American girl» four times during her shift before she had even taken our table. We had asked to sit in the Hibachi area because the couple we were dining with were interested in getting food other than sushi — they ended up changing their minds but I ordered fried rice to warrant us being there(in the past they have tacked on $ 2 service fees onto everyone’s tabs for sitting in the Hibachi area — they did not this time). My friend’s fiancé ordered the Bubba Roll without mayo because she is allergic — they brought her the roll with mayo. After sending it back, the manager told his server to simply«scrape it off.» They eventually complied and remade the order. I ordered the Carrollton Roll and Spider Roll. My rolls were inedible — they didn’t taste good or even fresh. I ended up bringing this to the attention of the manager who after shirking off my complaint told me that«maybe I had eaten too much.» I didn’t even eat half of my order. He said that it was fresh and that he eats it every day. He then proceeded to quiz me on what I had ordered because he obviously did not believe I knew what a Spider Roll was. No apologies, no credit, nothing. Our server was obviously frazzled because she was the only server in the restaurant, and she later disappeared. When we went to pay, we asked the manager where she had gone, and he said that she was sick and left. Yes, she was sick of being ridiculed by you. Attention Carrollton — this establishment is not only customer-unfriendly, it’s racist. Do not go here. Do yourself a favor and support an establishment that not only makes good sushi but is nice to its patrons. If you are wanting good, authentic Japanese food, go to Tokyo or even Honk Kong but don’t waste your money here. I know I won’t.

Some of the best hibachi food I’ve ever had. I love the noodles you get in a addition. Also the onion soup is phenomenal. The sauces you get are really good here. And when it comes to sushi, the spicy tuna and spicy shrimp rolls are great. Great selection of nigiri sushi, as well. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve had here.

I have had Sushi all over Atlanta but hands down Osaka in Carrollton Georgia is my favorite. Their Sushi rolls are stuffed full of fish and their spicy tuna mix is the best I have ever had. If you go on a Saturday night you need to come early or it’s going to take awhile to get your Sushi. There is only one chef and he is usually swamped.
