I have dealt with LT Security’s Tech Support at this location many times Their team is very helpful & knowledgeable when assisting me. When ever you need surveillance equipment for your next install I recommend LT Security!

Have purchased here locally and have had no problems at all. Tech support has helped me anytime I have needed it when doing an install. Matrix IR cameras are the best in my opinion.

1. Clips downloaded are supposedly MP4 format but files can only be played by Windows Media Player or the LT Security Platinum viewer. You can’t email a clip to be viewed on a smartphone or Mac or Linux user. Clips can’t even be opened by the Windows 8 Video application or Windows Movie Maker. Useless for law enforcement or first-level evidentiary. 2. HTTPS doesn’t work because the ability to generate a private key, certificate signing request(CSR), and even a self-signed«snake oil» cert is disabled. You also cannot import a certificate. 3. The LVMS7000 Android app can track video alarms, but when you tap on them, most of the time, instead of showing the event, a non-intuitive message is displayed. If I actually needed to quickly determine whether an intrusion is real or false in order to dispatch law enforcement, about 75% of the time, it won’t work. 4. On a 16-camera system, only two line crosses are supported. 16 cameras and only two line crosses? 5. The Mac OS X version of the thick client crashes spontaneously in various places in the software. It can be counted on to crash. 5. The Mac OS X version of the thick client is a full major relsease behind the Windows-based version. It does not support many of the event types in later versions of the device firmware. 6. The Windows-based version of the NVMS thick client doesn’t follow Windows GUI design guidelines, so lots of static labels as well as drop down list elements are truncated. The user experience is horrendous. 7. The DVR device itself interferes with garage door opener HomeLink, causing ones cars to have to be reprogrammed every 1 – 2 days. 8. Tech support has to come from dealers. There is no way to feed back information directly to the OEM. 9. Just like the previous reviewer, the OSD menu got«stuck» on one camera, and the only way to clear it was to pull the power to the camera. More bugs, but too much to type in via smartphone. If you want real security, do not buy this product.

I have invested THOUSANDS of dollars in LTS Equipment. I have over 8 of the dome cameras. Recently I had a problem with the date being wrong on one of the cameras. No big deal, right? WRONG-O! The person who installed the camera had a problem trying to get it figured out with the LTS«tech support». What a nightmare this was for me as the customer. The time gets fixed, and the installer left. Power goes out, now the time is back to where it was before, still wrong. So rather than call the installer, who had trouble finding time to make this minor fix, I decided to call LTS support directly. I am not trying to undermine the installer profession, but the amount of effort to get this done, is ridiculous… I just need this fixed and have tried every normal, ETHICAL channel to get it done… The support guy who answered the phone told me he checked with his management and they REFUSEDTOHELPMEFIXMYCAMERAMYSELF. They wanted me to go back to the installer… This is a minor fix and I am familiar with the software. DONTPATRONIZETHISBUSINESS, or LTS Security… they left me in a serious LURCH and I regret spending one penny on their equipment. At the end of the day, my investment and how it can be used was seriously compromised.
