Great place to shop for unique items. Staff is wonderful. Located in old downtown Carrollton with great eating options.

I have shopped this mall many times due to its location only. The employees are extremely slow and are very nosey about why you are buying things. I was in a booth that stated 50% off everything and an employee came up and said i should get this and that due to it being 50% off. I told her I didn’t like this and that. She then turned and left me alone after giving a snide remark. The prices are still really high for what they have. They do sell items that are unique so I understand that, but when something is marked at 140.00 at 20% off… well that item was still overpriced according to my research online and locally. They don’t have any airflow. The a/c is on, but it’s still so very hot. The older women working there say they are comfortable while the customers are sweating. Lastly, a lady tried to buy a packet of beet seeds that was an antique reproduction on the front. The sign said they were a dollar. When we got up to pay the ladies said he’s not selling them because they are out of date. Of course they are, it’s an antique store. It’s not Calloway’s. Then they said he wasn’t selling them. We told them they needed to take down the sign that says seed packets a dollar. No comment from her. It was a horrible experience, and not my first but will be my last here. The treatment of customers is one of «we are so much better than you». Well you lost my antique groups business!

Its a so-so antique mall. Nothing special. Plenty of grandma clutter. Lots of glass and figurines. Random booths.

This Antique Mall in Old Downtown Carrollton contains 30 little shops. I think it would be IMPOSSIBLE to go in there and not find a bunch of stuff that you want(but probably don’t need). They have some very old ‘true’ antiques with a mix of newer items that I hesitate to call antique because it’s from my childhood(like the ‘80s ET glass). Some of the shops contained within this mall were well stocked and fairly priced. The opposite can be said of some of the others. I liked this Antique Mall in general because there is a vast selection and it doesn’t seem terribly picked over. There is a whole section dedicated to antique buttons and fabrics. I thought that was pretty interesting to look through. There are several sections of antique advertisements and postcards. Lots of old dishware, jewelry, containers of various sorts, and just ‘stuff’ was available. The vintage Beatrix Potter statuettes were beautiful. They were found in the section of antique baby items. I would be afraid to put this stuff in a nursery with a real child though. Pretty… yes. Childproof… not so much. This is a terrific group of shops to browse in if you enjoy antiques. I got lots of interesting gift ideas as I walked through this mall.
