I was excited to find a Chinese place in Carrollton that had great reviews. Unfortunately I left very disappointed, as did the rest of my party of 6. Service was suspect at best. Sweet but lacking attentiveness. All the entrees were extremely greasy as was the fried rice. Everyone left mumbling. I was embarrassed since it was my suggestion based on Unilocal reviews. I don’t get it. Maybe something was amiss. I know I won’t visit again. To many other options.

So, so far, I’ve tried their phở, Singapore meifun, curry chicken patti, and braised pork. They were all super delicious! The phở that they have here is different from your regular phở. Cathy’s version is more like Tom Yum. It’s still delicious! The Singapore meifun had a strong and excellent curry flavor. I wanted to lick the plate clean! That’s how good it was! Braised pork is not always available every day, but when it is, you should try it! It’s another delicious food that Cathy cooks! I’m not that crazy about their patti, which resembles crab Rangoon minus crab. It’s still delicious, but I wouldn’t order it again in the future. Price is ridiculously affordable! I’m guessing it’s due to its location near campus. Oh, one more thing: try their hot rose tea! It will calm you down after taking that final exam! Happy munching!

Best Chinese we have had in Carroll ton. The Pad Thai had just the right amount of spice. Our meals were hot and cooked to order.

Our first time here after thinking we couldn’t get good Asian food in Carrollton. We were proven wrong. Cathy, the owner, came out and talked to us. All the food is fresh and homemade and it showed in the soup and entrees we had. We will be back!

Good food but Cathy got frustrated when we were asking questions about the menu because there are no descriptions. She asked my gf if she«doesn’t know her Chinese food» as if we are suppose to know what all of her food is based on only a name. Then after about the 5th little question we asked her she said I’m not answering anymore questions, bye and hung up in our face. This isn’t the first time she has been rude. Not going back.

Great little restaurant. Seems like she does more take out than eat in so there has always been a table when we have been there. Orange chicken is delightful. I really liked mongo beef and bourbon chicken also.

Great food! Great prices! Very clean place. Helpful staff. Spring roll was different, but very good. Pot stickers were awesome! Could probably had nothing but appetizers and been ok. Hot snd Spicy shrimp was great.

Cathy Ho is back! The food is as good as it was for 25 years at her old restaurant, if not better!!! She’s serving up the«BEST» Asian Fusion around! If you’re not in the mood for Chinese or Japanese, you can always grab a smoothie or milkshake.

So glad Cathy is back! The new place is clean and bright. The menu is great: many old favorites appear, but lots of new items like mango chicken are also available. This is kind of a pan-Asian joint now – you can get pad thai or teriyaki dishes in addition to Chinese dishes. Also, I was impressed with the smoothie selection – I can personally vouch for the grape one. I’ll be trying to some others, I’m sure, as summer is on its way. Her crab rangoon, and even her fried rice, just have a different taste than all the other Chinese restaurants-in-a-box. The spicy peanut chicken is my favorite – its actually spicy, and she will tailor it to your preferred heat level.

Finding Cathy’s was a very pleasant surprise. First of all, it appears to be more geared towards carry out. The place is sparsely furnished and clean. The owner, Cathy, spoke with us at our table. My wife asked for a chicken recommendation, and Cathy asked if she likes it hot, then recommended the house chicken. I had the pad thai. Both dishes were very good, and the plates were loaded! We couldn’t finish. The food came out very quickly too, so if you were thinking of going to some Chinese buffet, you should consider Cathy’s instead.

We were looking for just a bite and not a huge meal. Since we both love Chinese, I turned to Unilocal. We followed the directions, got distracted by Cathy’s Fusion and then found the Lee’s sign. The hot and sour soup was fantastic, the dumplings crispy, the Hunan beef melted in your mouth and the vegetables were perfect, crispy and tender at once. The hot jasmine tea comes in a tiny clay pot with tiny clay cups almost too hot to handle and is perfect with this food. The young girls doing the serving were so sweet and we thanked the chef. A little out of the way, but worth the trouble. Thanks, Unilocalers! And thanks, Lee’s Chinese!

This place is so hard to find and it is tucked in a corner. But, the food is really good. I had ordered the combo with the curry chicken and fried rice. The girl behind the counter was nice enough to replace the ham fried rice with chicken fried rice at no cost. The food was affordable and tasty, even though the place needs desperate renovation… I went back there twice, during my week long stay in that town…

Unilocalers didn’t steer me wrong on this one. I’m just visiting and it’s raining like crazy on this Football Sunday – what else do you need but Chinese take out? The quality if the food seems pretty good, and the flavors are great… portions are MASSIVE. I ordered three entrees for three adults and we barely made a dent. Egg rolls are decent but the shell is a little too thick for my taste. Also, they don’t have fresh mustard – a big bummer because that’s like my favorite thing ever. Overall good food and a good value.

When you try Cathy for the first time, it’s really awesome. But after another meal or two the quality changes. I had the sesame chicken plate(comes with vegetable fried rice for 7.50). The chicken was stringy when you bit in to it, kinda chewy also. I went to try out her buffet one day and the food was cold, she needs better heating techniques, because her hot lamps are not working. This place is very pricey also. she cooks the vegetable fried rice in abundance so their is no way to get just plain fried rice without paying the extra price. But overall I think she is the best in Carrollton because these other places suck. Try it

By far, the best Chinese food you will find in the west GA region. Her egg rolls are incredible, so is her fried rice. I have never had anything other than tangerine beef, because her tangerine beef is easily one of the top five best things I’ve eaten, ever. Like others have said, her food isn’t Americanized Chinese food, and the restaurant isn’t some fancy new building, but don’t let that deter you. This woman has been feeding UWG college students on a budget for as long as I can remember, and for a reasonable price, she will feed you the best Chinese food you’ll ever have.

This place has been around for 20 years or more. Regrettably, I just tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. The owner doesn’t come across as the friendly type, but once you get to know her she is a very kind and pleasant woman. She appreciates real foodies… if you are in to the«Hong Kong Buffet» style of Chinese food things will probably not work out for you. Anyway, we go for the buffet which is currently only offered Thursday and Friday from 11 – 2. She did say that when more students are in town for school the buffet is every day of the week(well, maybe not weekends – dunno). The buffet is small… maybe 8 – 10 choices. But it is amazing! Quality ingredients throughout. Basically, she prepares home-cooked Chinese dishes and serves them buffet-style. The Schezuwan chicken is incredible. You’ll also see several«unfamiliar» dishes… ones you don’t see in other buffets. Just try them all ;P To get the most out of this place, get to know Cathy Ho. She knows her stuff and is great fun to talk to both to learn about Chinese food and just in general. You’ll learn a lot! I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. We’re going for lunch today… can’t wait!
