I agree with everything that everyone has posted before me. Dr. Burbano is a wonderful doctor, but one doctor does not make a good medical practice. It takes competent staff who know the answers to questions, are able to answer phones and not put you on hold for 20 minutes and can handle billing correctly.
I usually just see his PA because if I do want to see Dr. Burbano I know I’ll be waiting several hours. Also, they didn’t handle my billing correctly and had me pay an amount that my insurance didn’t cover. Which would be fine except that they sent it to collections and never notified me! My credit was hurt so badly that I almost wasn’t able to buy my house!!! (And I had excellent credit before that)
No one wants to take the blame so it was a blame game between the dr office, billing company and my insurance.
Oh also they are really bad about handling prescription refills. I used to think it was the pharmacy until I switched to a new pharmacy and had the same issue.
Going to a new dr. now. Couldn’t handle it anymore!

Horrible wait times!!! Dont make an appointment here you will be over the illness before you are seen by the doctor. They are always behind on appointments. Ive been here 2 hours now… and still have not been seen by the doctor. Last time it was literally a 3 hour wait past my appointment to see the doctor.

I am very disappointed, i went to the doctor yesterday and i am suppose to have my perscription ready by yesterday evening. i went to the pharmacy and nothing was there, apperantly they have not sent my perscription. Today i checked the pharmacy twice to see if they have received my perscription and they said the doctor has not sent the perscription to any pharmacy. i have Broncitis and i need my medicine, i cant go driving all over town looking for a pharmacy that doesnt even know about my perscription. This is not the first time this has happened, not only to me but my family as well, i am seriously questioning the reliability of this doctor.
When i contacted his office i was put on hold repeatedly and never spoke to anyone but the ignorant, rude, and bitch faced receptionist. I used to have very high expectations for this office and recommended it to all my family and friends.

You make an appointment for 11am and you’re seen at 3pm. I will never come here again. Horrible front desk customer service, lots of billing errors.

Dr. Burbano is my family Dr. and I love this man. He spends all the time in the world with me explaining everything. My mother and aunt have been seeing him for several years and think very highly of him and his staff. Dr. Burbano also speaks spanish which i’m sure is a plus.
The only and biggest issue is that you will be waiting a LONG time in the waiting room. I’m talking 1+ hour in the lobby and then 30−45+ minutes in a patient room.
The wait is worth it. When you get to see Dr. Burbano you will not be rushed and I always feel bad thinking of everyone in the waiting room because he spends so much time with me.
If you want a short wait then get the first appointment of the day. I got a 6:45am — 7am appointment and was in to see Dr Burbano in 10 minutes.
I drive from Ft. Worth to see him in Carrollton and would not go to any other Dr.
