Ehhh. I think of this place as a trashy version of Waffle House. With a tramp stamp. The food itself wasn’t too bad, but the service here was just nasty. Let’s start with the food. It was ok. The bacon and eggs were good and cooked the way I asked. I asked for toast but was brought waffles instead. No big deal, I guess. I like waffles too so I just decided not to send them back. The hash browns(which I ordered loaded) were covered in only a slice of Kraft American Cheese. Ok… but again, I like American cheese so I didn’t complain. The real issue is with the service here. Our waitress was high as a kite. I’m talking as drunk as Cooter Brown. Then, the cook came out and complained to us about the sausage gravy not being perfect and asked if I minded her whipping up a new batch. I think that was a weird thing to do. I mean why not just go ahead and cook more and serve it if she thought it wasn’t up to par? But ok, sure. Our high waitress then comes back to the table and complained to us about how much the cook sucked. I get not getting along with all of your coworkers but talking in a negative way about them to CUSTOMERS is so unprofessional. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and not from the food. I really felt like I needed a shower afterwards. I’d probably return to Huddle House but not to this location.
