Monica’s Housecleaning Service

I CAN NOT believe how unprofessional this woman is! I was a first time client and we scheduled for a 10am cleaning. 10:50 rolls around and she isn’t here, with no text or call. I give her a call to see what’s up, and she says very nonchalantly that she had a doctor’s appointment. Seriously??? Then she says, I will be there at noon, sorry. I’m irritated, but fine– come at noon.
12:30 comes and goes and no call or text, and now her phone is off! I am most certainly annoyed now but to give her the benefit of the doubt I text her asking what happened. She just says sorry, and to reschedule for the next day with a very good discount. I work with her schedule and switch my own work shift to accommodate her, scheduled for 10:30am at the latest. I double check with her the night before and she confirms that I will see her in the morning.
It’s officially 11am now and what do ya know, her phone is off with no text or call. Biggest waste of my time! Do NOT work with this woman, she is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate.

I’ve used Monica to clean two different rental homes my family has moved out of as well as our home that we purchased before we moved in. For both rentals, we received our entire cleaning deposit back and she did a great job getting our new house ready for us to move in. She gives you a fair quote up front and is cheaper than other services in the area. I highly recommend her services.

I live in IV, which is known for sketchy landlords taking your security deposit.
However, I spent a good amount of time researching cleaning companies for my pre-​move out clean. I got quotes from three companies, including Monica, and they all gave me the same exact price. Some were more organized and easier to speak on the phone with than Monica, but what made me choose her is that she promised that if we were billed for cleaning, she would cover the cost. She assured me that she would «guarantee [our] cleaning deposit» and that we would NOT be billed for cleaning, and if we were that she would PAY for this.
Due to this promise, I booked with Monica. This is the only reason that I chose her. However, I was billed for cleaning. A LARGE AMOUNT. This is NOT because she didn’t do her job at all; it is possibly because of my dirtbag landlord being loose with my money, and possibly because the unit was not «move-​out clean». It is likely a combination.
I called Monica explaining what happened and she informed me that she did her job and that it was not her problem. Maybe she did do her job but she should NOT go around promising a guarantee that she has no intention of fulfilling.
DON’T BOOK WITH HER.
She is unprofessional and does not keep her promises, even if she is perhaps good at cleaning.
