Came here because my family and I was camping at the beach (down the street), we came here because of the coupon & should have read other people reviews.
* they do not honor their coupon, had to get a friend to come inside and talk a little smack for them to honor*
We were a big PARTY and it was not busy.

FOOOD: horrible, uncook pizza, Found hair in one of our pizza, one pizza was uncool– pulled a slice and everything fell off. Super Unsatisfied.
Tables were pretty dirty, peppers/​cheese shakers were dirty and where they place it is dirty. JUST FILTHY PLACE!

An hour and a half it took too get our pizza, while others in our party received not one but three separate orders before we even saw ours.

By far the best pizza in Carpinteria, the salads are delicious, the lasagna is delectable. Everything í have ever had there is spectacular. The people are great and the prices are much better than Rusty’s. I don’t understand why it has Rusty’s as being cheaper on Unilocal,Thats just false.

I can only leave this review based on my own experience, having ordered for take-​out and not used the bathroom. The place was clean and nice inside. I would gladly stayed to eat, but nothing beats cuddling up with your man and a pizza.
I thought it was delicious and my picky-​eater boyfriend was a huge fan. We got half cheese and jalapeño (a rare green veggie for him!) and half artichoke and pepperoni. A medium was perfect for us, but a large would have made for some tasty leftovers.
We had a groupon, but I thought it was a living social deal. The guy who rang us up said that they weren’t accepting the living social so this might have been a different kind of review if I hadn’t realized my mistake. Unfortunately we had already paid and they were making our pizza when I figured out that it was, indeed, a groupon that I had.
It was a different gentleman who refunded us and applied the discount. We could tell that he was annoyed, but what do I expect for being such an idiot? Not to mention, it was probably 30 mins from closing. He wasn’t rude and I appreciate that I didn’t get a fake customer service smile when I was the one at fault.

I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the giovanni special. I was not disappointed. The meal was delicious. Speedy service and quality pizza.

I love the outdoor seating. The pizza is great. The service is excellent, like «you read my mind» excellent… Great for kids.

Disgusting. Don’t look up at the ceiling fans. Reminds me of Cambodia. Don’t know how Carp puts up with it.

This place does not even honor it’s own coupon. Went here tonight after my son’s karate class across the street and the clerk was VERY rude and refused to honor the coupon they had on their website. DO NOT go here.

Went here for dinner last night and it was the worst option we could have made. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was hardly traditional. It had stripps of breaded frozen Tyson chicken, douse with sauce everywhere then with mozzarella cheese. After a bite it’s was definitely from a frozen bag. Horrible. Then I had the pepperoni pizza, was grease everywhere on top and bottom of pizza. The crust was so chewy it took two hands to pull away from my mouth. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Unless you want a horrible stomach ache.

Terrible customer service, would not go there.

About half of us ordered pizza and the other half ordered pastas. The people who ordered pizza seemed to be happy.
I had pasta and salad. The portion sizes were good, but half of my salad was cheese and the pasta sauce was so cheap. It was basically pub food.
The guys working there were friendly and working hard, so 1 extra star for that.
I obv can’t dock them for price because of the shitty Canadian dollar. :P

Here for quick dinner Salad unremarkable and smothered with cheap mozzarella cheese. Coupons seem popular but who knows how to get them. Arcade is a ripoff. This place is dirty. Pizzas came out before spaghetti and meatballs. All in all not worth the money. Not even close. 42 dollars for 3 persons. The pizza was good. Thin crust and tasty. Pan pizza was thick and good.

I hate to be the person that writes a real bad Unilocal,but let’s get real. THIS IS THE SERVICE I RECEIVED.
I order a dinner for my girlfriend and I. It includes a Pizza and a Chicken Parm Sammy. We get a Pitcher of Shock Top to chase down our fun on the patio. Well while my Pitcher is being poured the keg blows. The beer guy tells me «you can have this, we are changing the keg». I thank the man and think to myself, this is exactly why I tipped. Karma comes full circle. I give the man like 5 min to swap kegs and work out the kinks. As I return there sits a ½ Pitcher of Shock Top. I ask the guy if he’s serious??? He says yes. I now realize it’s time to let the workers know my expectations. I hand my warm flat blown Pitcher back to the guy and ask for a full new Pitcher. After a few dirty looks and most likely a bunch of food spit the customer is served. Really?
As I hold down a table in the inside corner waiting for my girlfriend I began to sweat worse than the sauna at the gym. It’s pushing 90+ degrees inside with the humidity of what feels like 95%. My girlfriend finally comes out of the bathroom, and before I can share my story experience she starts telling me that the entire floor in the restroom is trash and nastiness. She went into details that I would rather save.
I could go into more details about this place, but I think I’ve already said enough. We can chop this up as my 1^st and last trip here. No loss to hit the other 7 Pizza joints in town.

I fully expected this to not be the best pizza place I’ve ever been to since it has no competition. However, I did not expect the «BBQ chicken pizza» to have frozen chicken nuggets cut up on it. No Bueno. plus, the place is filthy. Next time we will bring our own dinner rather than try to find something out here.

We keep coming back here, especially whenever we can get our hands on a Groupon! The pies here remind me of what you’d expect to find in New York, flavorful! Quick service, decent prices, helpful staff, games for the kids, typical pizza parlor or outdoor patio option, and conveniently located in Carpenteria, CA. There are not many parking spaces in their lot, but plenty of parking on the adjacent street and nearby so not enough to knock off a star.

Tried this place with my Groupon. Im always happy to try new places! Sunday late afternoon it was pretty quiet. A few people inside watching tv seemed like regulars and were pretty cool to chat with. The place looks a little run down and older, lots of webs and dust especially on the video game area. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, pizza was good.

The pizza was very good but everything else about this place was not good. It was dirty, employees didn’t seem to care much, bathroom was nasty. But the pizza was great. At least it’s something :)

Save yourself the headache and go to rustys! Rustys is the best pizza. The place is older inside as well but clean, fast and constistent. They don’t have an outside patio but it is wayyyyy better then Giovanni’s. Very flavorful, always cooked perfect. Fresh salad bar. Clean games. Clean bathrooms.
Giovanni’s has to be in foreclosure or on it’s way out because it was just foul. Upon walking inside we noticed dead weeds in the broken smashed in planter box. The trash can outside was broken and had dirt from like 75 years on it. The beautiful fountain had tad poles in the green slime. (No joke)!!!
The inside was dirty as ever. The door to the dish washing kitchen area was open and it looked like they haven’t cleaned a dish in a week. The two guys that we’re working there were eating salads and texting. They were so busy eating and texting they forgot our pizza which was burnt on the bottom yet watery on the top? Strange.
The pizza was horrible! A Von’s frozen pizza would have been better. The soda machine had a foul sewer smell as well as the inside dining area.
The kid area was nasty. Old dirty machines with extension cords all over the place. How they get away with that I do not know. The fire dept and health dept need to do a drop in sometime soon.
The bathroom was god aweful. Stinky, dirty, and just grosse. There were broken faceplates on the electric plugs on the wall. A kid could easily stick it’s finger in and electrocute himself.
All and all every restaurant in town was packed except this one. Thst should have been a red flag. We ate there anyhow because we grew up eating there and had high hopes it was the same as it was 20 years ago but not even close!
This location has so much potential to make mega bucks. I don’t know if the owner lives out of state and just pays the $ to keep the doors open but it us not working.
Owner, give someone ambitious a shot at a great revenue making establishment in that location instead of your crappy embarrassing pizza place.. You need to re vamp (BIG TIME) or close shop. It is obvious the place is having trouble.

We stopped here on our way home from Oregon because my husband wanted pizza.
The place was pretty dingy looking. The price was about average. They messed up my husbands order and when they remade it, the sauce and toppings were literally sliding off the slice so he had to eat it was a fork. Only positive was the outside seating area.
