Technician came out once and most of my lawn ended up turning yellow and weeds became worst; I have ½ acre and the technician spent a total of 10 –15 minutes on my lawn. I called for a follow up treatment — same thing — lawn turned yellow and weeds were not dying, but multiplying. Called again for a 3rd follow up in which the technician came out again for a whole 10 minutes sprayed a few spots and left without treating the whole lawn. When I called for my initial follow up they said they would have the tech call me and schedule a time to come out to ensure I was there and could show him the trouble areas — never received a call and they just showed up sprayed a few areas and left w/out treating the entire lawn. I called them on Friday May 10th and they local office gave me prices over the phone and wanted a credit card to hold the service, I refused because I wanted to dicuss the price options with my husband. The sales person said they would email me with the info and his contact info, andf they would be out about a week later. One week passed, no one showed, no call and no email. So I called the 800 number again. They said there was an appt on there for later in the week(this was Friday so how much later would that be??), but they could squeeze me in that day. I said no, ebcause I still did not confirm what services I wanted with the local office. They said they would have their customer service dept get a hold of me, but that never happened. So we went to another company. Today, Tru Green shows up and I told them we went with another company because they never called me to conform anything, never heard from them, and I was not going to do business with that type of company.

Here’s a copy of an email I just sent to their customer service department: «Following is a copy of a review I just posted on a corporate headquarters site. Your company reviews are appalling, and I’m shocked that you’re even still in business if so many people have had the same problems as me. «My story is the same as everyone else’s. After being a loyal customer for at least 5 years, I cancelled my service this past week due to lack of response, and our front lawn looks like a ghetto. We’ve been paying for grub service for years, yet last year the grubs destroyed our lawn. After calling at least 5 times, to both the local and corporate offices, I still get nothing but lip service. I’ve been told every time that a local service manager will call me back, and never does. I’m one step away from contacting an attorney to see if we can get them to adhere to their so-called«healthy lawn guarantee.» How does a company with this kind of customer service stay in business? If my husband or I treated our customers like this, we’d be out of business. Do not use this company!!! « I would say to call me back and discuss this problem and a resolution, but given my experience, I won’t hold my breath that anyone there will call me back, or even cares. If I have to repair the lawn that your company guaranteed, I will be sending you the bill, along with a letter from my attorney. This could have been so much easier if you had just called me back like you said you would, five times. Repairing my lawn is less expensive for you than going through lawyers. Who is running this company? What do your shareholders say? With this kind of service and ugly lawns, it’s only a matter of time before you have to close your doors.»
