I don’t normally write reviews of fast food restaurants, but this is one that I frequent, so I figured I would give them a review. This restaurant has some of the most pleasant and friendly employees of any fast food style restaurant I’ve been to. I appreciate seeing the fresh ingredients well maintained and plentiful when I arrive, and the food I’ve had is always good. The restaurant is always clean and well staffed– I’ll keep coming here in the future!

Hit or miss on freshness at this location. Most of my last experiences have been bad. Food was cold, soggy, and/or didn’t taste good/right. Price is on the higher end for fast food; taking that into consideration and it’s not worth it. I used to buy from here at least once a week. Dining frequency dwindled as quality did. Now I’m finally done giving them chances.

So, my wife & I went there one night. We would go there often. My wife liked the Beef & Broccoli. She order the Beef & Broccoli bowl with brown rice. The young lady behind the counter put in mostly Broccoli, hardly any beef. My wife asked her for more Beef, as I looked over, it looked more like a bowl of Broccoli, I didn’t see any beef at all. Out of nowhere, some lady who I assumed was the manager jumped up & proceeded to reprimand my wife in front of the whole restaurant. I got in between the«Manager» & my wife, supporting my wife of course. Pointed to the bowl of Broccoli and asked her«what ever happened to the customer is always right». Her responce«I’ve been working at Panda Express for over 7 years, it doesn’t matter if the customer is right». I told her that I was never going to ever step foot in her Panda Express again, nor any other Panda Express around the country for that matter. I filled out the survey that was on the receipt, they sent me a 10% off coupon, which I found almost as insulting as the manner in which the Manager handled the situation. I kept on complaining, eventually the Regional Manager called me directly. I explained the situation to him, told him that I didn’t want any free food or discounts. That I wanted to be treated fairly and with respect at this particular Panda Express. I told him that what I wanted was this Manager(and I just this term loosely) to apologize to my wife for her unprofessional behavior and reprimanding her in front of everyone in the restaurant. He agreed that he would do this, that was 2 months ago, I’ve gotten no contact from him again. So, I decided that I would share my experience on Unilocal for all to see. I wish a decent Chinese Restaurant would open in the area.

Panda Express is what it is– you can’t come here expecting high class food, and everything is going to taste a little greasy. However, when you’re craving some fast, cheap, not really healthy Chinese food– this is the place to go. Their variety is awesome! I’ve been here a few times and I’ve never had a problem with their food. Yesterday I had an especially great experience. I was worried that their food wouldn’t be fresh since we arrived at 8PM on a snowy Tuesday night, and my boyfriend and I were the only customers there. However, instead of stale food, it was COOKEDTOORDER! Hot, fresh Chinese food just for us. Trust me, there is nothing that beats fresh Beijing Beef. Mmm. Their(I am assuming) manager, who took my order, was super duper friendly, and even threw in a bag of free fortune cookies because we had to wait a few minutes for the food to cook. Worth the wait, definitely. Thank you so much for your great customer service!!! We will be back!

The rice must have been sitting there forever. It was mostly chewy or hard. Actually hurt to chew. Alas it was carry out. IF I ever go back I will be sure to ask how long it’s been sitting there.

Black long hair with hair extensions cooked into my food. My text is not needed, I made a video of my food order.

It’s fast food, I get it, but it’s still nothing great. I eat here once every two weeks or so and it’s just because I have a need for a Chinese food ‘fix’ and I don’t have much time. For my $$ I would rather go to Gourmet House in Algonquin — their lunch specials come with soup, egg roll and a large entrée for what I pay at Panda. I just wish Gourmet House was closer, but, alas, they aren’t so sometimes this is my only option

i like Panda Express because its yummy and has a great staff! Their food is not as healthy though in general. This location has a small lot and its hard to get in from the main street. Dangerous intersection to turn into.

I love Chinese food — and having a super fast, fresh Chinese place like this nearby is a huge plus. But these guys need to get their act together a little better. Let’s begin with the food. It’s always fresh, in fact, they don’t keep much on-hand precooked. They’ll make any item that isn’t ready for you fresh, which sounds like a bonus unless you’re on lunch hour and in a hurry. Overall, Panda does a better job at preparing Chinese food than many independent Chinese places I’ve been. That being said, clean your tables outside. Fix your broken umbrellas. Wipe down the tables inside. Make sure there’s beverages at lunchtime. Put out sweetener for tea. Make some food at lunchtime!

Panda Express is a small chain of Chinese restaurants with many locations set up in airports throughout the USA. Being an airline pilot, I have probably eaten at most of them, none of which are particularly good. I swore up and down that I’d never hit a Panda Express outside of an airport. Until tonight. I was out doing some shopping at the Home Depot nearby and needed to pick up some quick carryout before heading home. In the distance, I spot the neon«Panda Express» sign calling my name. All day long, I’ve been jonesing for some Chinese food. Being a Monday, I knew it would be almost impossible to satiate that craving since most of the«authentic» Chinese restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays. I walked in and was pleasantly suprised to find a very clean restaurant with ample seating, a spotless display of food and two cooks standing in front of a trio of woks fixing up their version of Chinese food. I ordered a two item combo($ 5.99). Then came suprise #2. Upon taking my order, the cooks began cooking up a fresh batch of fried rice as well as the two main dishes I ordered. About 5 minutes later, I’m on my way with a foam container of freshly cooked Chinese food. And sure enough, it was actually pretty good too. And although I probably will not rush back tomorrow, I will undoubtedly visit this Panda Express location again when I need a quick Chinese fast food fix.
