Steven was super helpful and attentive when I came in knowing(essentially) nothing about the board I had found recently. Helped me figure everything out and gave me lots of great advice. Their no return policy was printed a little larger at this point behind the register, so, besides that, which could be an inconvenience, it was a great visit.

This place is great. Nice people and pretty good surf gear selection. The people who have this store one star should’ve seen the sign posted right next to the register that says no refunds.

Okay, the dude who gave this place one star because he didn’t pay attention to the return policy is doing a massive disservice to this place. CB Surf Shop carries a fantastic selection of clothing inspired by the surf life as well as surf gear. The women’s section especially blew me away — a really awesome collections of clothing and accessories that had me drooling ever so slightly and wanting to chuck my whole wardrobe and replace it right there on the spot. Rather than carrying rackfuls of utter, utter crap as some large chain stores on the island seem wont to do(really, tourists, is that what you want? I didnt’ think so. Quit shopping there), CB Surf Shop’s got some swagger and cares about quality. Four stars — with room to grow!

Don’t buy more than a sticker w/o reading store policy. You can get a refund on NOTHING. It’s store credit no matter what the reason for the return, and on half the stock, once you walk out with it, they won’t take it back at all. None of this policy is noticeable if you’re not looking for it. Read the little sign with the 10-point type by the register, as the only other place it appears is on the receipt… but by then you already bought it, didn’t you? Don’t support businesses that hide their policies. They may have reason for doing what they do, but if it impacts every purchase in such a way and they don’t make it clear, they’re hiding it for some reason. Buyer beware!(it’s essentially what they told me)
