M’s Beauty Salon

M is awesome! Came in here because I need to get my eye brows threaded last minute and came across great Unilocal reviews for her business. So naturally, I tried it out. I went in to get my eyebrows done, and came out with perfectly shaped eyebrows and a brand new hair cut! Can’t beat her prices. $ 27 with a 25% tip. She listens and educates you on what is a good cut and the style. Great lady! I wanna come back again!

Really liked the haircut I got from here. The lady was great, though takes her time cutting your hair so you should call ahead of time. The price is also very reasonable, especially considering the time she spends on your hair.

I have gone to M’s a few times now, and every time is a good experience. There is a relaxed, homey atmosphere with kids doing homework, and casual, friendly chatting. I have had a hair cut and threading both done here, and both were much higher quality than other, more expensive places. I have never had a long wait, and I recommend this place to all my friends.

Fabulous, friendly service and a great hair cut for my son. I brought in a photo as a go-​by — she clarified length and other details, then gave him the best cut he’s had in some time. A lot of stylists don’t listen and leave him looking like an old business man. She made him look like the amazing 10 year old he is! Sunday hours were much appreciated, and we’ll definitely visit her again for cuts and more bindis (great selection).

My wife wanted me to drive her all the way to the city to get her brows done. I was like hold on I will find you a closer place. Wow! She rocked! Wife was happy with everything after a bad experience last month at another place. One more session and she will be all fixed up. I ended up doing my eyebrows as well and she did the best job I have had done. All for $ 13. 5 for eyebrows and 3 for her stache and 5 for my brows. A++++++++

Update: I’ve stared getting my hair cut here, too! She does a great job, and I can’t beat the convenience of meeting all by «beauty» needs at once.

I have been driving to Rogers Park to get my eyebrows done for years… found this place and could not be HAPPIER! PERFECT eyebrows… super clean and very nice! Can’t beat the price! I think it was $ 8 for eyebrow and lip… THANK YOU!!!

I absolutely love this salon. Its tucked into a little corner in the same shady stripmall as Kinta Sushi (another hidden jem) and I’m so glad I didn’t pass it up based on appearances. My boss originally recommended M because she knew I was looking for a new threading salon, the place I had been going to prior raised their prices to 7 dollars for eyebrows and 5 for lip. I don’t know about you, but I think that’s ridiculous. Threading itself costs pennies in supplies and takes all of five minutes. I just couldn’t justify the stiff increase from 5 and 2 respectively. But… I digress.
So she recommended M’s and I have never been happier! I had tried a new place after my old regular became too pricey and the lady completely ruined them. M took her time reshaping them and informing me where she wanted me not to touch and how she would sculpt them once more hair grew back in. She really took the time to make sure that my eyebrows not only looked good, but that they fit my face as well. Since trying her out about a year and a half ago I haven’t been anywhere since. She’s picked up some business lately, so walk-​ins can take some time, but if you know exactly when you want to go in she takes appointments. I would fully recommend her to anyone I know, I get compliments on my eyebrows all the time!

I love this salon. I have been going there for 2 ½ years. The owner is always there and is so friendly. I have curly fine hair, and not everyone knows how to cut it, but she does! Recently she even cut my husbands hair. He’s beyond picky and usually only goes to the barber shop. But he loved the way she cut his hair, so he’ll be going there too now! I always call ahead to make an appointment, because yeah she is busy, but she’s that good! No more hair cut regret!

I love this place. The lady who works there is wonderful. I had a bad hair cut and she fixed it up wonderfully! She threads eyebrows awesome also! Her prices are great and reasonable. They only down fall is that not many ppl work there so you might have to wait a bit. Love this place though and I have recommended it to many!
