Horrid!!! The teachers, particularly in the art departments are very nepotistic! If your child excels in the arts, our anything regarding the sciences for that matter, move to a different district! This school had been notorious for drug trade for years!!! Furthermore, the atmosphere of the school in general is more of crowd control than that of education! The administration in District 200 is useless if you have valid complaints so you’d better have enough money to hire a federal lawyer to get any justice in this district, particularly in this school!!!

I attended this High School, and there is SOMETHING WRONG with the faculty here. Without going into too much detail, they are on a complete power trip. They way the counselor and attendance dean treats the students, it’s ridiculous how rude these people are. Almost none of the rules or things taught in this school can be used in real life. Before you think ‘Oh he must have been a bad student.’, no I actually worked harder to graduate early to get away from this place. Never want to come back here again.

Haha this is hilarious that this is listed on Unilocal but it is true that GBN is pretty awesome. I know a lot of their graduates who are now physicians, engineers, pharmacists, business owners, entrepreneurs, lawyers, and other successful professionals. They offer honors courses and AP (advanced placement) courses as well. Some of their teachers are highly trained and well educated. Cool fact: Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan attended this high school.
