Pros It was cheap, available, and pretty conveniently located on the North Shore. Our room was kind of a studio that one could hole up in if you needed to complete with kitchenette and cooking utensils. The water was hot and the heat worked. The owners were pleasant and the room was clean. Parking is close to your room. Pet fee was reasonable($ 20 – 30 I think) Cons It’s old, like really outdated old motel old. Weird kitchenette area with pots and pans and a stovetop that just felt awkward. You nearly drive your car into your room, parking right outside. This means you hear every person arriving late or leaving early. The walls are thin and you are on the main road so it is loud(they provide you with ear plugs). We heard the 2 little dogs next door barking for 2 hours, then we heard the couple talking when they came back) Overall, as a last minute place to stay, it was a lifesaver, but I would search elsewhere if I could

They did let us check in early… But the cable box didn’t work so we had to wait 2 ½ hours for the cable guy to show up to fix it. Then I discover that the WiFi didn’t work and when I asked the owner about it she blamed it on the weather and brushed it off. It said on Expedia that the rooms had flat screen TVs but ours didn’t. No AC or wall heating units just two small space heaters and electric blankets. To top it off our blankets and sheets were not clean. There were stains on the blanket and crumbs in the sheets, pretty disgusting. If you’re going to pay nearly 100 $ you might as well go to any other nearby motel in that price range.

This place was a lifesaver and such a great deal! It is a great hidden secret that is very conveniently located. It is a small motel with just a few aka 6 rooms. The room I was in had two double beds and a mini kitchenette(Burners, fridge, microwave) which was a lovely surprise. Even better was the fact that the lake is right across the street, just an easy 100 ft walk and you can hear the lake from inside the rooms! I also loved that it was right near 7⁄11 and a CB Pizza Grille, also very helpful! I will remember this place and come back. The room was $ 75 a night for one person and $ 10 more per person, really great deal.

Found this place on Expedia and was a little worried due to low price and no reviews, but I must say I am pleasantly surprised. It is a quaint little motel with 6 rooms. You can see Lake Tahoe from your window, the lake is right across the street! We are here for a wedding and surprisingly it was directly across the street! If you have a wedding at the Gar Grill, this is the prime location. The hotel is ran by Ed, he is very sweet and accommodating. He let us check in an hour early. It is slightly on the Older side, but clean. There is a microwave and little fridge in the room. The shower is odd, no tub or bottom to it, but it gets the job done.
