Kenyon and Sons Heating & Air Conditioning

My mom’s heater went on strike recently. It wasn’t too shocking, considering the thing was a real relic, a Rheem installed in the early 80’s. She called a company, the guy came out took a quick peek and told her, what we thought was obvious– it needed to be replaced. We were fearing an expensive replacement based on its age. The guy said the unit was cracked, dangerous and blah, blah blah. My mom is a senior citizen and lives alone. I think this guy saw an easy mark. He tried to up-​sell her, telling a new could cost around 20k. Whats it made out of solid gold? She told me and I called my guy– he also took a quick peek and while he didn’t say that it was cracked, he said that he wouldn’t be able to get parts on such an old unit and recommended replacing it for around 5−7k. Not quite the heart attack the first guy was, but Smash cut to my mom getting out the original paperwork for the install. Kenyon and sons did the original install. She called them. Chuck came out and got to work. He took the unit apart. Cleaned and fixed some minor problems. In a short time he had hot air blowing into the house! He found no cracks nor any major issues with the HVAC system and in no way did it need to be replaced. This guy is efficient and honest. Glad there are still a few guys like him, who don’t try to rip off old ladies. I’ll be calling him for my next HVAC job! I can’t believe they don’t have more reviews here!

Chuck arrived on time to inspect our heating and air conditioning. He conducted a thorough inspection and made one repair. I was pleased with his work and referred him to a friend. I plan on using Kenyon and Sons in the future if need arises.
