Crazy For Yogurt

Loved this place.
I had seen this place for a while, but never been.
They had a fundraiser for my neighbors who were in a horrific car accident and the father and youngest child passed, so they had a fundraiser here to help raise money for the family.
This is a locally owned yogurt shop, what I love is they also have GELATO… talk about threatening me with a good time!
They had good selections of frozen yogurt. excellent toppings from fresh fruit, to candy, and whip cream, syrup, etc.
My son chose gelato, I tasted a few of the gelatos… DELICIOUS to say the very least.
We have been back since then a couple times.
Must support local businesses!
which reminds me, we must revisit here STAT…

Let me start off by saying that the staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. If not for the staff, I’d probably give this place a 2 star rating. Walking in and seeing the flavor selection, I almost walked out. Seriously, unimpressed. The froyo here was meh, it stifled my hunger but left me unsatisfied.

Honestly, the yogurt/​ice cream is so GOOD Hands down!!!
BUT,
the business is so dirty and messy… The last time I went there, i saw a mop standing on the side of the store. old and faded pages on the doors. It also smelled like chlorine. I remember when it first opened and they had a really nice and clean atmosphere but they totally down graded throughout the years… I hope they take some of these things into consideration because the staff there is really nice and I would love to go back I just wish it wasn’t so messy and dirty…

Had A Groupon for 2 creamwiches. Busy for a Tuesday night, but no one in line. The young lady who helped us was quite pleasant, very informative, and not only let us sample a few of the gelato flavors, but also gave us a couple mini cups to try the frozen yogurt while we waited for her to smash our gelato choice into a donut. Sooooo delicious, and dangerously close to home!

Great selection of desserts and excellent service. The girl working went out of her way to make us as happy as possible. I couldn’t believe the quality of customer service at a yogurt/​dessert place. Well done.

We went back with the grand-​kids on Friday April 10^th.
Crazy for Yogurt no longer serves ice cream, only a very nice selection of gelato and yogurt. The kids chose shaved ice. There is a very large selection of toppings.
The young woman serving us was very friendly, courteous and served all the customers with a big smile. Great customer service. We’ll be back for sure.

Great yogurt, love the BlackBerry tart and red raspberry. They rarely have them though or there would be five stars. Also half off on Mondays is a good deal.

Another impulse Groupon deal purchase brought myself and my Husband here one afternoon for a small treat. The deal was 2 Crazy Creamwiches for $ 4:50 (usually $ 4 each).
First impressions was ”Wow, they have everything!”. Looking around as I spotted self serve Frozen Yogurt, Gelato, Cookies and Brownies by the register and a freezer with Ice Pops, Frozen Banana’s and pre packed flavors to go. The Gelato display itself was very impressive with over a dozen flavors all with the offer of a sample to help you decide what to get.
The young girl serving was really nice and explained the Crazy Creamwich concept to us, basically you choose your Gelato flavor and they then sandwich it in between a warm powdered Doughnut. It sounds incredibly sweet and sickly but they’re fairly small and the Gelato isn’t sweet but creamy so it balances it out a little. My Husband and I both choose the same flavor.
The ‘wich was ok but where the components were great alone I felt like combining them they kind of lost their flavor and appeal so I ended up using a spoon to eat the Gelato and then ate the Doughnut separate. I don’t know if they buy the Doughnuts in or also make them themselves but they’re some of the better we have had, even from Doughnuts shops.
The Yogurt offerings have great variation of flavors and a huge amount of toppings in the toppings bar and all kept really clean with both inside and outside seating. I’ll be sure to keep this place in mind next time we’re in town.

Very friendly staff that is willing to help! It was our first visit so we were asking for recommendations. Tried the groupon donut filled with peanut butter fudge gelato which was very yummy! Nice clean atmosphere. Didn’t try anything else but I would go back if I was craving yogurt or gelato. They had a lot of variety.

Just came here because of a groupon for two creamwiches. I don’t see this on their menu, but it’s on a flyer in the store window. They stuff your choice of gelato inside of a hot, fried doughnut! So amazing. We tried one with butter pecan and one with cake batter, both delicious but cake batter was my favorite. The doughnuts were so fresh and perfect. They had a large selection of gelato flavors, and they also offer frozen yogurt and drinks. There was patio seating outside and the girl working there was super friendly and helpful. I would go back again.

I actually came here with a Groupon to try their ice cream donuts.
It took me awhile to decide, and while we were waiting for her to prepare them, we were also allowed to get samples of the yogurt, :)
I ended up getting the green mint ice cream donut. I wasn’t such a huge fan of the Cinnamon they put on the donuts though and I felt the donut was a bit thicker than I usually like, I was kind of just expecting it to just be poofie and glazed. My friend got himself a strawberry donut, he really liked it though.
Despite me not really being a fan, they actually had some gelato flavors there that I may want to go back just for that. :)
The place was inside of a plaza, so parking wasn’t hard to attain.

We tried the cream-​wich during our first visit here. We both loved the gelato, but the donut itself wasn’t that good. The service was great and the place was neat and clean.

Came here because of Groupon for the donut filled ice-​cream deal. 100% delicious: D I mean think about it. a deep fried donut with glaze filled with ice cream. SUPER unhealthy, and I felt a little gross eating it, but it was so good that I almost finished it without thinking twice! It was sooooo good filled with their cookies and cream ice cream, which is what both my boyfriend and I got. The woman working their today around 4:30 was very friendly, approachable, and kind. I haven’t had their frozen yogurt, but damn was that donut good!

This place is awesome! My fiancé and I loved it. I loved the tart yogurt and my
Fiancé got the apple pie. Best frozen yogurt we have tried in the area! Good amount of choices and they also have gelato. I tried the dairy free chocolate one. DELICIOUS is I have to say decently priced and great customer service. We also were asked to sign up for their rewards program. Let’s just say we loved it so much we went back the next day :)

We come here way too often since my initial review over a year ago. Kids love the variety of flavors (typically around 8 different flavors) and they are constantly adding/​revamping their menu. They have added shaved ice along with a donut/​ice cream treat. Good for them for keeping things fresh and exciting.
They have introduced a rewards program which is nice. Just the other day, they give free 6 oz of yogurt if you bring in your Halloween candy to them. They donate the candy to overseas troops.

My favorite yogurt spot! They always have a new random flavor I’ll indulge in. Good variety of yogurt flavors and toppings!

They have really good frozen yogurt and a lot of toppings to choose from! They change out their yogurts on a weekly basis it seems so you never know what you may have available from week to week so don’t get hooked on a favorite. They have gelato and shaved ice too. A cute little spot and so far all their employees have been really friendly!

After our not so good experience at Crazy for Yogurt with the high priced Hawaiian Ice, Lynda, the owner, contact us and was concerned, courteous and apologetic. Seems there was a mistake in the price we were charged and the workers were new to making the Hawaiian Ices. Lynda very generously offered us a 2 free large Hawaiian Ices which my son and I enjoyed this week. I was glad to give Crazy for Yogurt another chance and the results were much more pleasant this time. The Hawaiian Ice was more flavorful and enjoyable. Thank you Lynda for your business integrity and making it possible to re-​visit your store. We enjoyed our time so much more this time!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this frozen yogurt shop! I try to come in here AT LEAST twice a week, no joke. They switch out their flavors a lot which I love, and have every topping your mind can imagine. And the best part about it, they have POPPING BOBA and MOCHI!!! Frozen yogurt is like a drug, I can’t get enough of its deliciousness and I love how this little spot is a 3 minute drive from my house and the best place to stop after swimming and tanning all day at Harrington access.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. There are so many different flavors of gelato, sorbets, and frozen yogurt! Plus, there’s so many toppings and fresh fruit.
My personal combination is the Hazelnut Gelato with strawberries and some mochi completely covered in hot fudge! Yummmm!
