I will never eat there again. For one, it’s nasty ugly in there. Needs a HUGE makeover. We still stayed and ordered jalapeño poppers. They came out still frozen inside. My husband ordered a ribeye steak, it was«the worst he’s ever had.» I ordered fried chicken. Now I was pregnant at the time too. So since the fryer couldn’t cook the poppers through I figured I’d cut open my chicken to make sure it wasn’t raw still. Well sure enough it was. Blood everywhere. I was so disgusted that I told my husband we need to leave. I then to the waitress that I refused to pay and was leaving. She told me she understood and we lefted. They need to clean their grills before they make a steak and learn how to fry food. Ugh gag.

Stepping into Ginny’s Place was like stepping into another world. Actually, it WAS stepping into another world. that of small town, mid-America. Everyone knew everyone else, asking about family and crops while smoking and eating whatever food was laid out before them on their plate atop a red and white checkered table cloth. My grilled cheese sandwich and fries were pretty good, although too salty. The waitress was friendly but seemed a little troubled or confused by the fact that neither my boyfriend nor myself ordered any meat. For lunch for the two of us, including tip, our bill came to $ 8 and some change. The place was pretty clean but smoky. And just in case you didn’t tease your hair up high enough, their bathroom has a can of Aquanet and the tools needed to perfect your ‘do. Quick, cheap, decent food. right on the highway. I would stop here again if in the area and looking for a no-frills meal.
