GREAT crepes. Awesome service. We haven’t had the chance to eat at their outdoor tables but intend to when the weather permits. The soup they make is homemade and always amazing! Highly recommended before a movie next door.

We stumbled onto this place and it has become our go to place for a quick bite to eat that you know will be wonderful. The homemade chimichurri sauce is to die for. I have tried it on rice or in the sandwich, both are excellent. The Cuban sandwich is also excellent.

My wife and I went here for a light dinner. We had the garden crêpe and the Caribbean plate du jour: rice, red beans, and«red meat» i.e. beef stew as well as a very refreshing, unsweetened peach ice tea. The service was informal but friendly(it is an order-at-the-counter establishment — not really a full serve restaurant.) The food was very good and attractively presented — especially the crêpe plate. The Alley is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I’m sure we will be back regularly!

I just ordered the Cuban sandwich. Delicious! Not everyone know how to slowly cook pork. The flavor is traditional Cuban. Just one thing. The bread should be press to get the traditional crunch. Am very pleased and look forward to coming back. Hoping the bring the traditional café con leache.

We tried this place on a last minute whim and couldn’t be happier we did! The Garden crêpe was delicious with a twist of a white wine reduction sauce. The Dominican Chimichurri Sandwich was equally as tasty and worth the slight messiness of the sauce! For dessert we tried the Banana pecan filled with dulce de leche crêpe, it was to die for! The prices were fair for the portions, large crepes. Will make this a regular place from now on!

Very flavorful homemade food with a personal touch. Nice folks I’ve never been disappointed the coffee is also very good I bring everybody here. What I like especially is that they use flavors that you don’t find too often in this area. It’s a very nice alternative to the same old stuff.

I’ve only gotten the Cuban sandwich so I can’t speak about the crepes. However the sandwich was tasty and came with a small bag of chips. I do wish the sandwich was traditionally pressed to add some nice crispy texture, but the flavors were nice. It would also be nice if they offered a small portion of mixed green salad instead of chips. Descent prices though, and nice to have something different in vanilla world carmel. I look forward to trying the crepes.

Stopped in for my first visit. We got a chicken bacon ranch crêpe and the buffalo chicken crêpe. Maybe it was personal taste, but neither my girlfriend or I could find it in is to finish them. The chicken was colored more like beef. Something was off about both sauces also, but it seemed the disappointment was in the chicken. The taste and color of the chicken was not right. Carmel is full of great takeout spots. I will not be returning.

This place is a great addition to the Carmel eatery scene, which has been severely lacking in variety – the only choices in this town are takeout Chinese, takeout pizza, or some grimy pub. Every crêpe is uniquely delicious and made with love. The owner and her family are so sweet! I love the Alleyway Crêperie and now I have somewhere cute to take my friends when they come to visit Carmel!

Excellent crepes. It looks like there isn’t enough food but it’s plenty. The filling in the crepes is always good. We have had the chicken bacon ranch, the pulled pork and the Carribian chicken. The best is the Carribian chicken. Also the dessert crêpe with Nutella and fruit is soooo good. Also the small salad the put in the side is really good. My only complaint is the paper dishes and plastic ware. It cheapens the experience. The food is too good for that. It’s a little pricy for such a small takeout kind of place but the food is really good so it’s worth it. it’s great to have something other than Italian and Chinese food in Carmel.

Got take out last week. We were really excited about this place opening since we first heard about it coming. We were really disappointed with the results. Got the Alley Crêpe figuring that for almost 11 dollars it was decently filled with maybe some extras or sides. However, it turned out to be nothing more than a few pieces of bland chicken wrapped in what tasted like a thin tasteless pancake. The sheer lack of weight was astounding. It cost maybe a dollar to make(if that) and came with no extras, no sides, and no satisfaction. This crêpe was my dinner, and it was finished in maybe 5 bites. So, not really sure what the $ 10.50 price was covering. Wife had the butter-sugar-lemon crêpe. She also was very disappointed, as it tasted(again) like a thin pancake with supermarket bought lemon and butter spray on top. As people who love a good crêpe, this place’s crepes are well below standard. Eating crepes here was akin to wanting authentic Mexican food and being taken to a Taco Bell. Walked away feeling really ripped off and duped. A real shame. We had high hopes.

Delicious crepes; good portion size; flavorful coffee; fair pricing; and well designed space considering it’s limitations. HOWEVER, I wish they wouldn’t use plasticware and styrofoam plates because it cheapens things.
