My partner called on one of their rentals. No one called back. We tried again, no response. Then looked online and they had changed the rate. We could have afforded the new rate and understand that sometimes websites don’t get updated, but since they chose to ignore us, they lost out on quite a bit of income and a perfect renter. I’m giving 3 stars because we never rented and I don’t know how they manage properties.

A terrible rental experience. Not only is Dawn dishonest, but she is highly manipulative and afraid her mother will find out her incompetence. The IRS needs to do a thorough review of their books. When one reads of the corruption in downtown Carmel and dirty rental practices run rampant, it fits. Stay away from these folks. And take photos. I’ve given two stars because the house was very nice. But Dawn paints herself as a victim of her less than decent practices in business. Do not trust her.

My family has been renting from Dawn Reim’s Pinecone Properties numerous times. We tried renting from three different, prominent property management in Carmel — it was a disappointing and ehausting experience. Dawn’s company is a treasure. After examining many properties and property management companies, we discovered that Pinecone Properties has the best prices and the best houses in Carmel. All the houses are well-​taken care of. Dawn is always on top of things and professional. Whenever we had a concern about a little thing about the house we were renting, Dawn always came right away and fixed the issue. Dawn is warm, responsible and very easy to talk to. She is also honest and direct, not to mention the best-​dressed woman in Carmel!
We couldn’t be happier with Pinecone Properties and Dawn Reim and look forward to renting from her in the future. We are grateful for all her amazing work.
