HORRIBLE customer service and DEFECTIVE products. I purchased an $ 8.00 bottle of UGG Water and Stain repellent at Parts Unknown to protect my $ 200 UGGs. That night I discovered the spray was gummy and clumped up in the bottle. I returned the very next day to simply exchange the spray for a new one. I was told by various sales women that only the manger could handle an even $ 8.00 exchange. And the manager was not in that day. Jessica was the woman in charge and refused to exchange the bad spray stating it was not store policy and she didn’t want to get fired. So I left with the spray but will be returning the UGGs and will give somewhere like Hedi’s my business and will be sure to tell my friends and family as well. Hope it was worth the inability to make a simple EVEN exchange on a defective product you sold and refused to exchange. You can get UGGs anywhere but great customer service and satisfaction you will not find at Parts Unknown.

I recently had to return a bag to Parts Unknown that had some manufacturing flaws. They were very professional about the return and replaced my bag. Highly recommend for the variety and quality of their leather products, prices and customer service. Diane Cook Seattle, WA

I like the store because of its leather goods, ugg boots selection, and Brighton items. Unfortunately, a salesperson inmediately accosts you when you walk in the door and follow you around like a lost puppy. Its quite annoying when all you want to do casually browse. I’m guessing they work on commission only or they have had a bad shoplifting problem?

TOPARTSUNKNOWN and beyond I was ONLY at this store because I ran off and forgot my shoes, as well as, my jacket since Northern Cali can get Flippin Fidget while SoCal is blazin hot! I figured it was be cool but this was BORDERLINERIDICULOUS! While SoCal really had NOWINTER to speak of aside from the 3 days where 20 droplets of rain fell from the sky NorCal was bundling up like Eskimos all winter and STILL! So my toes were cold since all I brought were hot pink flip flops that I got in Malaysia from a nail shop! Basically some floral Old Navy type $ 1.50 flip flops that while comfy did not do me any good to stay warm. I also ran off and forget a jacket too, but that is another story. The BEST thing about this place is they sale REALCOWHIDELEATHER! None of that play-leather, pleather, faux, fake, wanna be stuff that is SOLD everywhere in California that I TRULYHATE! Hey I LOVECOWS just like the next person but I have ABSO-FRICKIN-LUTLY no problem wearing a nice pair of baby soft calf underbelly knee high or ankle boots, with a smoking hot Elsey the Hefier zip front contoured at the waist jacket, along with a matching woven Cousin Kelly the cow leather belt, some soft black Wilson Sude and leather pants from uncle Bull S*it…see what I did there haha(ya’ll youngin’s don’t know about Wilson), matching mink lined new born calf leather gloves, with a nice soft cobble stone leather purse with matching wallet and leather-band watch, while eating steak dinner at the house of Prime or Mastro’s with my veggies dripping in cheese and veal wrapped in bacon for an appetizer. I just don’t have an issue with it! It was great being able to INHALE all the dead COWS and their relatives! SORRY Peta! They are actually owned by Scully Leather so you’ll have to look them up. So we walked in and were greeted right away by a wonderful sale’s lady! She was SUPER knowledgeable about the shoes, the sizes, fit, purses, etc. It was refreshing! I tried on 2 pair of ankle boots in brown and black! OMG! SUPERDUPER soft! Felt like you were walking in house slippers! There were GREAT! But sadly I couldn’t decide and ended up not getting anything! They sale clothes for both men, women and children, as well as, shoes, purses, jewelry, hats, etc. It’s almost like a sudo-western style store or Dances with Wolves, Indian casual store very NorCal kick back at the beach Carmel style! REALLYNICE! If an employee saw you walking around they would as if you needed help. But they were NOT pushy or OVERBEARING at all which I HATE! They have something for just about everyone here making it is good store for the person who has everything! And the quality is TOPNOTCH! And at those prices I saw on some things it should be! I will definitely be back because I now have a GREATNEWPLACE to buy boots and leather items.

This store has just about everything you could want. It’s kind of like a general store only for clothes and accessories. The staff there is very nice and their prices are just about right for the location. Very nice merchandise but nothing for me. Not my kind of clothing.

Parts Unknown is a place for all ages. It is located in touristy Carmel Plaza so I would not have ventured in if it wasn’t for a good friend. This place offers one of a kind leather goods. Although I’m not personally a big fan of leather jackets I think they are damn sexy. Some of their shoe selection… very hip and sexy. They have killer UGG Moccasins and I found the Toddler UGG selection über adorable. I look forward to picking up a pair for my friends that are Mommy’s to be! My friend found a gorgeous leather jacket that fit her like it was custom made. NIce find! Some items can be pricey but quality is very good which is rare these days. I found two lovely tops and took a gorgoeus Dark Iris Blue one home, I thought it was very unique. Not a place I would shop at on a weekly basis(yeah I like to shop a lot) but definately a great place to find a special gift or a one-of-a-kind gift for yourself! Customer service was extraordinary and I look forward to visiting soon. Next time you are in town check this place out, you never now you might find somthing that calls out your name.
