Incredible Service! Fun Selection! Melissa, it was such a pleasure to meet you! Melissa is the owner/founder of Nature’s Karma and is such a delight. I had quite the challenge for her and she rose the challenge wheeling me around the store pointing out extremely thoughtful gift ideas that fit the exact description of what I was looking for. Melissa’s store has an excellent selection of all things fair trade. The store is more targeted for woman(as most stores are ;)) but has a selection that features local artists here in Carmel and Indianapolis as well as the Midwest! From re purposed burlap coffee bags turned into women’s handbags to organic and natural face creams and lotions(some of which Melissa makes herself), handmade jewelery and home decort, to the quirky .45 records that I purchased as re purposed coffee table coasters. There are loads of small gift ideas for anyone who needs a last minute Christmas idea both for guys and girls. Local flavor local art local local local! Love it! Melissa, thank you for giving me such a personalized tour of your store! The personal service you offered is what I love about our locals! Thank you! To be honest about the price concern… when I shop local I expect to pay a little more. But I don’t think that the prices are unreasonable.

Cute and quaint little shop selling all recycled, organic, and fair trade«stuff.» They have everything from jewelry, tea and chocolate, a few clothing items, home décor, and purses/handbag-type items. I love the concept of the store and support it wholeheartedly but wow, most everything is really expensive. While I loved the large circular recycled skateboard earrings, I’m not in the habit of shelling out $ 40 for earrings. Lots of cute recycled pop tab coin purses and jewelry but again, a $ 70 coin purse is a little out of reach for my budget-minded self. The gal working in the store today was very friendly and upbeat and I appreciated that she didn’t hover over myself and my sister while we oohed and aahed over a variety of items. Initially went in because my sister was looking for Ambre Blends and Nature’s Karma was the closest retailer while we were in the area. From what I know, they seem to sell the full range of products from soap, spray, oil rollers, shower gel, etc. Also a pricey product but she seemed thrilled with her purchase, so it made the trip worthwhile.
