I know. I have lived here for over seven years and I DO NOT give good reviews when they are not warranted!
This is a continuation of an earlier review in which I said that, with their current staff in the office, this place at THIS location should… no will… be fantastic! The previously mentioned concerns still apply because it is, after all, an older facility and the ONE major suggestion I would have is that you «discover» what you can about the hvac and water heater setup. Run hot water. listen to the water heater etc. Also try to detect heat or cold leaks. This is important. Visit on a hot or cold day maybe.
So perhaps I should rate it somewhere between four and five. Still, what I just wrote about are the major concerns, which are not that bad so…
Other than that… go for it! You are surrounded with an almost village atmosphere which, to my knowledge, exists no place else in Carmel, the schools are fantastic, and younger teens can walk to many places safely on their own (with the usual warnings about idiot drivers, older teens for example, of course).
