like the ambience. Food was pretty well tasting too. Its better version of panera

Quickie Review: I fell in love at first bite! My go to is the pick 2 meal with the Chicken Pomodori and Mac and Cheese. Then top it off with a Blueberry Hand Pie and that’s just heaven in the mouth. The atmosphere is great and I’ve never had to wait as long as I need to from being in line to getting my food. I highly recommend a visit during any occasion ranging from Sunday brunch to a business meeting and everything in between.

As one of my companions mentioned, this place reminds us of McAlister’s Deli. However, it is a little more expensive. Another companion and I split The Gobbler entrée which consists of turkey with dressing within cranberry bread, a spear pickle, and our choice of a bag of kettle chips. I found the bread interesting. I asked for the cranberry mayo on the side for my companion.

Awful service. Waited 10 min to order, then another 10 at s dirty table for someone to clean it off. Asked twice and no one ever came. Finally cleaned it ourselves. Then after another 20 minutes they came out with the wrong food, completely messed up our order. DONOTEATHEREIFYOUWANT A QUICKMEAL. Had to get money back and leave.

Tested under possibly the busiest conditions — Saturday at 12:30, when hordes of Carmel kids’ teams and their accompanying adults descend on the local restaurants. Almost every table inside was taken, which inspired us to enjoy the last opportunity to dine outside before Indiana winter takes over. Corner Bakery passed the test — the line moved quickly, the staff taking orders was fast, but not rushed — still making good suggestions. Special shoutout to the«unusual suspect» — the guy who brought out our order — very cheerful and friendly. The lineup is typical of Panera/Paradise-style cafes — panini a, salads, soups, bagels. A distinguishing twist — grilled flats(flat breads). The selection of pasties is not huge, but wonderfully different — fresh croissants, two types of rugalach(small flaky pastry), pumpkin whoopie pies, pumpkin mini bunds cakes. I may focus on the pastry tasting next time… Started the best way — with dessert — apricot walnut rugalach. Tangy taste to the flaky dough, sugar baked into crunchiness outside — selfish. Baked potato soup and California panini were good, but not remarkable to a Unilocaler’s tastebuds. Overall, a nice fast lunch option at Clay Terrace.

More than likely will never go back. We ordered and waited over 35 minutes and never received our food. Finally we went up and checked only to have someone tell us our order had never been submitted and that it was the computers fault. The staff stated they would have our food out in 5 minutes. Fast forward 15 more minutes and we spoke with the manager. He insisted on giving me a refund. As we left he gave us our food to go. We decided to go ahead and eat it at a park bench. The food that we waited 35 minutes was underwhelming. The eggs were runny and there wasn’t a drop of seasoning. I only added the second start because the manager was extremely apologetic, gave us a refund and a certificate to come back… honestly I may only be back for coffee… You can’t screw that up can you???

Nope. Never going back. I wish Paradise Bakery was still there. We ordered and waited over 35 minutes and never received our food. It was steady but not packed inside and all the tables around us that sat down after us kept receiving their food. Finally we went up and checked only to have someone tell us our order had never been submitted and that it was the computers fault. The staff stated they would have our food out in 5 minutes. Fast forward 15 more minutes and we spoke with the manager. Asked for a refund which he obliged and decided to leave. As we left he gave us our food to go. We decided to go ahead and eat it at a park bench. It was horrible. The eggs were runny, like literally watery liquid pouring out. No flavor. I’m glad I didn’t pay for it and won’t go back.

I grab coffee here when ever I go to clay terrace mall. Starbucks used to be the go to place but for unlimited cup of coffee under 3 dollars, I choose this place over Starbucks. Atmosphere is great and there food is good too! They just opened up so they are trying to train and figure things out which I understand. I see lots of people doing business meeting in here in the morning.

Rough! Wow the service is getting worse! I literally just stood here for 5 minutes watching three employees have a non work related conversation as my food sat in the window! I had to interrupt their chat to get my food. No sorry either! Sorry to interrupt your conversation ladies

I stopped with a friend and ended up just having an Iced tea since I had early dinner plans. I will totally be back to try one of the many salads or sandwiches. Plus they have a ton of pastries. It would be really hard to narrow it down. They have a lot of the baked good displayed as you go up the line and of course in the display counter. My friend had a sandwich and she enjoyed it. They quickly brought it to our table too. I can’t remember the iced tea I chose, but it was really good. It had a strong flavor and I loved it. They also had a huge assortment of coffees and on cold day it will be a great hang out. I really want to try the pancakes.

Dined here during a blogger tasting event. Location is in the open air Clay Terrace mall. Bright, airy and open, this location boasts a nice amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Grab a panini and pasta combo, pair it with a nice Hibiscus Lemonade, and prepare to experience bliss. I’m a fan of this brand. Traffic bites getting there, but this place will be busy for years to come.

Food was good, but it was not quick, and it was expensive. Tables were left with trash and dishes for long periods of time. The cashier was not good with acknowledging next in line… even if she did have to make a smoothie. She should have said«I’ll be with you in a moment». They need more people who are good with customer service. The Asian toasted sandwich was amazing.

My friends and I all tried the power flatbread for breakfast… good! And not huge. I want to try those cookies or sour cream coffee cake! Really nice atmosphere.

This was my first time trying out corner bakery and I was pretty satisfied. Having spent about 30 minutes deciding where to eat my friend I ventured I to the Corner bakery. They have a great selection to choose from in their menu and have a large variety of items to choose from. It definitely reminded me Panera Bread, but slightly different. I ended up with the pick two combo with the Turkey sandwich and loaded potato soup. Each combo also came with chips and a pickle! And as everyone knows I love the extras ha. The soup was really good and I would definitely go back for second on the sandwich! What was really nice is that they had a really good selection of soups and even chili! I highly recommend checking it out!

Absolutely amazing food and the desserts are sure to cure in sweet tooth. I got the blueberry lemonade cake for a snack later on after work and it hit the spot. Fast service to. Overall amazing

Enjoyed a great family dinner. Much like a «panera type» menu. Food was very good and the service was nice. Place looks very comforting. I had the Cuban sandwich and chopped salad… it was great!

I’m so glad there is a Corner Bakery nearby now! This one just opened Aug. 10 in Clay Terrace. I’ve visited once so far, but so far, so good. There is lots of seating inside, and the workers seem efficient and competent. My favorite Corner Bakery menu items are the Santa Fe Ranch Chicken Salad(add avocado for $ 1 more — you won’t regret it!), the chocolate muffins and any of their breakfast sandwiches. Corner Bakery is simply good and familiar food.

Opened Monday! Corner Bakery is another fantastic export from Chicago coming to our area. I normally only am near a Corner Bakery in the morning for breakfast(in Chicago) but this location is a great lunch and a very popular dinner area, so I am trying their dinner menu. They also have some awesome bakery items. Have you ever been to «that other place» and thought«wish I could eat a WHOLE Lemon Pound Cake»? Here you can get one! The All American Scrambler is my favorite breakfast. Here’s a hint — sub the fruit for the potatoes if you are not into carbs. Had the Chicken Pomodori Panini and it is fantastic. I subbed the Caesar Salad instead of the chips. Good salad. Interior is updated and huge. Should do well here.
