So glad I found Carmel Tattoo. The staff was very professional and great to work with. I went in for a consultation and had an appointment for 6pm on a Friday night. Aldo stopped what he was doing to do my consultation. After making an appointment for the following Friday, I showed up early and we got started right away. Michelle is very friendly and fun to talk with. Very pleased with the work that was done. Turned out even better than I expected. Will definitely be back for more ink.

Since my first review, I’ve gotten several more pieces (including a half sleeve) as well as a new piercing at the shop.
I can happily say that all of my work from this shop has been outstanding. I’ve had the privilege of being tattooed by both Adam and Aldo, and each of them has been excellent to work with from start to finish. Each of them has been incredibly helpful in working with me to take my idea and make it worthy of tattooing. They’re also committed to making sure they do their work correctly, and as such will stencil and re-stencil until the piece looks perfect.
As an update: the shop books up faster than ever. They still accept walk in appointments, but if you’re looking for quality work in the Indy area, I’d recommend stopping in for an appointment. You can’t go wrong with this shop!

Today I went here to get a few piercings. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, atmosphere and the friendly + helpful staff. Michelle was very professional and did my piercings quickly and with little pain. While helping me find a specific place for them she brought up a lot of considerations I wouldn’t have thought of. She also directed me in how to clean them and take care of the, gave me her phone number if I ever had any problems with them. If/when I’m going to get more peircings or even a tattoo I would certainly go here. I had a great experience and will recommend this place to friends. They also had a huge range of hardware.

This shop is awesome, I highly recommend anyone to visit! I got my second tattoo here this week. Michelle helped me coordinate my visit and Adam have me a perfect tattoo. It was vey special to me and in my grandmothers handwriting. They helped me size and place it perfectly. The shop is clean and nice, there is nothing bad about this place!

I just went in for a cartilage piercing change out and the owner, Michelle, was great! Very friendly and fast service. They jewelry is not expensive but still great quality.
The station was clean and she walked me through every step, which was nice considering it was still a little painful. She suggested I get some Tea Tree Oil to soak my ear to help with the swelling. Highly recommended!

I was really impressed with this place. The staff was very helpful in guiding me step by step through my belly button piercing. It was very sanitary and the piercing happened really quickly. The woman that did my piercing answered all of my questions and was very detailed with how to care for it. 2 of my friends went to get piercings with me and were equally as impressed. I would highly recommend this place for piercings and will be revisiting Carmel Tattoo Ink when I decide to get a tattoo.
