Bellisimo Salon and Spa

I love coming here. Kathy is awesome. She’ll keep you informed of she’s running late, but I’ve usually not had any issues. I trust her enough that I’ll usually just cut her loose and left her cut my hair how she thinks it will work best (only stipulation is that I’m lazy so won’t deal with anything that takes a lot of work!)

It’s always been hard for me to find a salon that I want to keep coming back to. I found out about Bellisimo through a friend and I have been going regularly for over 6 months. I drive from downtown indy to come here because the service is spectacular. It is a very stylish, clean, professional salon with friendly staff that truly enjoy what they do. Its an added bonus that they offer beverages, such as coffee, tea, wine, and beer. I always leave impressed with my hair cut and style. If you are going to go somewhere nice to get salon or spa services, this is the place. I go to Eric, who is a very experienced hair stylist that I trust to decide how to cut and style my thick, wavy hair!

I went in for a scheduled appointment. I waited an additional 30 minutes. I hate waiting. Especially when the appointment was booked ahead of time. I can understand waiting, had I just walked in. Then after having waited an additional 30 minutes, I missed an appointment I had booked for later in the afternoon. I was given a scalp massage, if that’s what you want to call it before my cut. The cut itself? I could of had the same cut done at a Great Clips for a fraction of the cost. Luckily, I had purchased a half off groupon to use. Otherwise, I would have been furious paying full price. I was also told by my stylist that she needed to leave and pick up her niece? Which told me she had total disregard for me a a client. Especially since I had been kept waiting, when I showed up 10 minutes earlier in he first place. Moral of the story… Not worth it. Waste of my time, and definitely a waste of my money. Save yourself the trouble and book an appointment with a salon that values and appreciates their customers.

I highly recommend Stella for manicure/​pedicure! She does a very thorough job and my nails look great when she’s finished. They just got new fancy pedicure chairs that are very comfortable and enhance the experience!
Parking can be difficult to find because Bellisimo is in a strip mall with some popular restaurants, but other than that I recommend it!
