I can usually find a book or DVD for a good price. Love browsing through their clearance items & finding an unexpected bargain. The free WiFi is a nice bonus if you need an internet connection. The café has some really great seasonal drinks. I got the Peppermint hot chocolate & my husband got the Spiced Apple Cider… ended up sharing after he let me have a taste of his cider. SOOOOGOOOOD!

Always a great time grabbing a drink/bite to eat and taking a look at the wide range of books that are offered to read/skim. I’m hoping that with the digital age upon us, stores like this do not go out of business. Keep up the book sales and author visits.

I MUCH prefer shopping at locally owned bookstores, as opposed to the big box retailers. But, there are times that I’m looking for a book or item that might be a bit out of the ordinary, and one of the smaller mom and pop stores don’t have it, or don’t have access to it. That’s when I’ll stop at someplace like this. This location, in particular, has an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They’re always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help you find just what you need. The downside is, this store is almost TOO big. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. That said, every time I go to this store, it’s a positive experience. I’m a repeat customer.

Barnes and Noble is awesome. It’s like a trap of books that sucks you in and doesn’t let you out. I do like the Noblesville one better though.

I never shop at Barnes and Noble since there really isn’t a good location in Chicago near me. However, Mastercard mailed me a Black Friday coupon so I decided to head here to buy the only book on my list. I was able to buy the book in less than 5 minutes with absolutely no hassle. The sales associate did ask me if I wanted to join their frequent membership club, that actually costs money! No thanks, I will stick to Border’s where it is free!

This location has some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Even when the person who is trying to help you doesn’t know how to find a certain item(or when they don’t even have a clue what you’re talking about), they listen and try their utmost to assist you in a timely manner. I’ve gone in there with questions about psychology authors who hardly anyone even knows exist and ended up having a discussion with one of the people who work there about people who have had past experiences in emotional trauma and how those people can be helped through that authors specialized technique.(True story) I’ve also spent about twenty minutes talking about how to find a teaching CD for Portuguese and how unfair it is that more stores don’t stock them.(Sadly though they couldn’t find any in stock.) The point of my ramblings is this: Even if they don’t have what you’re looking for there(which is hardly ever the case) the majority of the time the staff is fantastic. Plus, there is a Starbucks in-house! How much better of a day can you have? Coffee + Books = Fun
