The wines are very good and reasonably priced. We went there based on a two year old review in the San Jose paper. The staff is friendly. Did I mention the wines are reasonably priced? Also, the tasting is 7 wines, and you keep the glass. It’s a nice glass. You can’t go wrong.

We had a wonderful time tasting Mercy wines! Our favourite tasting so far, even after travelling through Napa and Sonoma. Mark was wonderful and full of knowledge not only about the wines but he gave a wonderful lunch recommendation as well(Lokal– walking distance). We especially loved the 2014 Zabala Reisling and 2010 Cedar Lane Pinot Noir. We will definitely be back one day! Thanks again Mark for your hospitality.

Really good wines and some nice affordable options for entertaining large parties. The staff is very kind and informative and you get a free glass with your tasting! We were so impressed we joined and became members. It’s a little hidden but still on the main carmel valley drag. A must stop in the Village.

The tasting room is a small but homey place to hang out. The wide variety of wines range from clean and crisp sauvignon blanc to earthy and full bodied pinot noirs. They have some yummy Chardonnay’s, personal favorite was the Zabala vineyard Chardonnay. Stop by to taste, I am sure you will find something you will love to take home.

Tasting room is smack on the main drag through Carmel valley village and so obvious that it’s easy to miss. We’re a member of the olive oil club, stopped off there and they gave us a comp pass to this winery. We did leave with some Pinot which we found rather good but the guy in the tasting room didn’t exactly look like he wanted to be there. Anyhow, worth stopping off and try the Griva Pinot as you won’t be disappointed.

Monterey County has world-class wines. The crown-jewel of these wines are the Pinot Noirs. The most famous of these are wines from the Santa Lucia Highlands(SLH) appellation. But if you want something a little different. .. try some P/N from Arroyo Seco. Although Arroyo Seco is near the Highlands, it is a world apart in terms of soil and climate. The harsh conditions produce lower yields, but fruit with an intensity of flavor that has to be experienced. And the best place to taste the difference, IMO, is Mercy Wines. The tasting room is small and unassuming, but the wines are top drawer. In addition to P/N, they have Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauv Blanc. The owner, Mark, and his employees are very knowledgeable about the grapes, terroir, and winemaking process. The wines are a good value at their price point. My current personal favorite is the Cedar Lane Pinot Noir.
