Cute little tasting room in Carmel Valley. Within walking distance of all the other tasting rooms in the town square. This place is top notch, the wines are all very good quality. I visited on a rainy day and had the place to myself. The person who helped me(Sorry i forgot your name!) was super friendly and enjoyed sharing all the wines with me and telling me all about the winery and each wine. I signed up for their club and look forward to visiting again the next time I am in the area. My favorites include the Zin, which is not too jammy, it’s more like a NAPA Zin. The Syrah is EXCEPTIONAL. One of the most unique Syrahs I’ve ever tried. The Chardonnay was great too.

I am actually writing this review about a fun and fabulous Joullian Vineyard event I attended this past weekend but it was actually at the vineyard further up the valley. It was a wine tasting/wreath making day. It exceeded my expectations, beautiful setting, great catered lunch included with ticket purchased, tractor rides around the property and winery cellar tours. Many of the people near me were returnees who make this an annual holiday get together with friends and family. The wine branches to make the wreaths are in a ready bundle and plenty of fresh greens to garnish it. Best way to start the holiday season. Job well done.

We made a trip to Carmel for harvestfest and stopped in the tasting room our first evening. What a great start to our trip! The tasting room manager was knowledgable and more than happy to answer any questions we had and teach us about each wine we tasted. We LOVED the semillon especially, so unique and refreshing. We loved it so much we plan on contacting Joullian to see if we can serve the wine at our wedding! We’d definitely recommend making a stop here when your in the area!

I dont even know where to begin, this place is simply amazing!!! The staff are incredibly inviting, helpful as well as knowledgeable. Great location with less traffic and such amazing architecture and rock work! Recommend trying the Zinfandel, however you cannot go wrong with anything you try here. Join the club and keep them coming!

What a great place! Super friendly staff, tasty wines, and one of the only places that I’ve found to have A/C! Definitely stop by if you’re in town for the day(or week, or month). The Zinfandel is great, but the best is the Cabernet Franc… try it, you won’t regret it. And if you like sweeter things, ask for a taste of the dessert wine.

The most amazing Cab 2011! Enjoyed all the pours. An absolutely beautiful scenic Winery. Would highly recommend this winery as one of the first stops you make while tasting in the Carmel area!

Still three stars. We did not plan to stop here again, but the tasting room manager at Parsonage gave our party of four coupons for a free tasting. So the price was right. The tasting room server was very pleasant and helpful. The wines are what I consider«middle of the road.» Nothing terrible, nothing great … but still we did not walk out empty handed.

I Love the ambiance of this stone building, and the wine is superb! Favorite white is the Roger Rose Chardonnay, favorite red is the Zinfandel. The staff is professional and friendly, they will provide you with recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing ideas. They serve wines by the glass to enjoy outside or in their beautiful lounge area. Stop by to taste many wonderful wines from Carmel Valley!

Ok wine. One of the tasting room servers was really sweet but the other was incredibly rude and dismissive. Their Daily Flight is $ 10 per person and will get you six pours, 3 whites and 3 reds. The wines are alright, and about $ 25-$ 30 per bottle on average. Not my favorite.

I came to this tasting room while doing rounds at the other wineries over in Carmel Valley. I liked the wine so much that day I became a member of the wine club! Their white wine flight is very good as well as the reserve flight! I have yet to meet the winemaker but hope me and my girlfriend can at one of the events they are hosting soon! I love the look and feel of this tasting room as well! The stone décor and barrel tables are very nice and it makes for a very relaxing, lodge away from home feel. All the girls pouring the tastings are very friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable on what each wine is and it’s history. This is my first wine club winery and hope to join more in the future, but this spot is great and anytime I am in the valley, I always make sure to hit our winery and grab a bottle while were there. Note: Their wine club is pretty affordable as well! 4/semi annually for $ 80 – 120 bucks. Can’t complain!

A lovely tasting room in Carmel Valley. Our server was very personable, allowing us to re-visit tastes on the menu. Liked their reds, bought a zin. Gave us a great recommendation for lunch to pick up sandwiches at the local market deli.

We were recommended this place by our hotel and were not disappointed. They have an amazing Semillon which we adored. We also tried great zinfandel and their range of Chardonnays The wine tasting was knowledgeable and fun, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend.

A great first start to our day of wine tasting. The tasting room is located in an old stone church but it’s nice and comfy and not cold or dreary. The tasting was $ 10 and the wines were okay and very reasonably priced. The hostess was very friendly and we were the only ones there at noon on Saturday. The best part was we got a card for two free wine tastings at Talbott afterwards.

This tasting room came highly recommended based on the merits of their wine. We(5) savored customized flights depending on what we each wanted to try, which Hal then poured in the correct order while he enthusiastically told us all about Joullian. While our group’s style preferences vary, everyone was impressed with the wines and our tasting room experience, and no one left without making a purchase. A surprise find for me was their unfortified dessert wine, which will make an excellent summer hostess gift. Additional discoveries were displayed in a large bookcase; a unique selection of locally made condiments(jam, relish, mustard, oil, vinegar) perfect for taking home more of Carmel Valley’s bounty.

older hostess lady, not so nice. Customer service not so nice. Inside was very very messy, but they have a good zin

We love this place! The wines are very good, the staff is friendly and they have the best events for the wine club members. After visiting Napa for many years, it is nice to visit some tasting rooms that you can actually see the bar and not have to fight your way for a tasting. Another plus is the traffic is very light, and there are several very good restaurants almost in walking distance. Come to think of it, maybe I should give this a «one-star» review to discourage others from visiting so as not to spoil the gem!

Some of the better quality wines that I tried on my visit to the area. I was particularly pleased with the Sauvignon Blanc and the reserve Cabernet. Friendly staff that made you feel welcome — of course I was the only person in there at the time. As with all tasting rooms — my advice is to ALWAYS go for the premium tastings. Their really is a difference in quality with most higher end wines.
