Ajne Natural Perfumes & Scent Systems

The shop is a haven of serenity in the midst of a busy shopping day. The scents immediately put you in a state of bliss and the shop owners are just amazing people with a wealth of knowledge about their products as well as the incredible stories of how they are grown and blended. They are such caring people with an honest desire to help you — whether with a health issue or simply to find a scent that fits your personality. Our dog was treated to a delicious scented spritz that created a calm demeanor for the remainder of the day. It was a fun experience to browse and learn and the products are all 5 star!

For the past few days I have contemplated my desire to provide a review for this store. I have for some time wanted to visit their location but did not have the chance. This past weekend I had the most wonderful opportunity of celebrating my birthday weekend with my best friend who flew in from Austin, TX. She surprised me with an unforgettable and spectacular trip to Carmel-​By-​The-​Sea!
Before I officially start my review, I would like to make it clear that I am commenting on the overall experience/​customer service my friend and I had on that particular day. This review does not highlight the quality of the products nor my experience with them.
I am disheartened to leave a low rating for such a magnificent and resplendent shop. The décor and selections for both the fragrances and skin care is splendid. Yet I am left wanting more when it comes to service. I came in wanting to purchase a perfume and at least one skin care product. I had my eye set on their cucumber mask. I was greeted by a lady who was already assisting another customer/​client. My friend and I said hello in return and began to browse. Not once in the whole 15 minutes of my being there with my friend did she find it necessary to pull away from the other customer to introduce herself and ask if we needed anything or had any questions. I was aching to ask her several questions about the skincare line. I was interested in buying more than just the cucumber mask. I was also hoping to inquire about their fragrance services.
After some time I decided it was time to go since clearly we were not receiving any service. Perhaps I may try this shop again. We will see! For now, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!

***The service I received was of one star quality. The products and the layout of the shop is certainly worthy of five stars.

Love the scents from this store. Go by and take your time. Try a few on and then walk around to experience the scent on your skin. It’s a great experience to learn how scents affect your mood. If you really want to have fun, create your own custom scent!!!
