Popeyes

I’ve been going to this Popeyes for lunch for years while I’ve been working in the area since this place opened. Probably has to be one of the most efficient (key!) and friendliest fast food joint I’ve been to… not just Popeyes.
If the tenders are too small, they add a piece or two every time, awesome!
They give you the sauces you ask for and not be cheap about it, awesome!
They only messed up my order 1 time out of a 7 316 938 716 293 times I’ve been there, double awesome! (Gave me side of beans instead of side of Cajun rice, gross!)

Well my turn to review Popeyes .
It’s good chicken, it’s my go to when in a fried chicken urge .heck it’s a chain they everywhere .
I always get the chicken as I know what to expect .Now I strayed from that and got the shrimp then got the fish .
The batter on the popcorn shrimp is ¼ inch thick after you pop one of those, there is this tiny little shrimp tucked in there is tiny.
The fish is the same heavy on the batter, so thick. There is a small pice of fish in that thick coating .if one takes that batter off and just eat what is inside you need to eat again.
To me Popeyes is good for chicken and not fish or shrimp.

I am not a fast-​food fan an previously I tried a crispy strip from KFC, couldn’t eat it… It was horrible! So, my boyfriend kept asking me to try Popeyes because he read in GQ :) that it’s good and has nothing to do with the taste of KFC. So there we were in an afternoon close to our office there is a Popeyes an we’ve tried it. I really am impressed :) the food isn’t greasy, i couldn’t feel the oil… it was well cooked. really I have nothing bad to say about them. The rating is only 4* because … It’s a fast food. Not that healthy :)

Stopped here for a quick lunch and got a satisfying meal.
I’ve always preferred the taste of Popeyes over KFC and this experience didn’t disappoint. The chicken was very juicy and tasty. The biscuit was warm and the fries were crispy. The portions were nicely sized and tasted fresh. As fresh as fast food can get anyway. I got a side of mac & cheese that needed a little salt, but overall pretty good.
The place was empty when I walked in. I was greeted immediately by the cashier and asked if they could help me. After ordering my food to go, I was asked if i needed any special sauces. Upon receiving my order, I was told to have a nice day. Not a huge gesture, but very much appreciated. Especially in a fast food chain.
The pricing is pretty much standard with other fast food places. There were no really appealing value items, but a few promotional meals were advertised. I got the «3 Of A Kind» meal for 3.99. Pretty decent bang for your buck as far as I’m concerned.
This place is not located in the most ideal of environments. It’s in a decent sized lot next to a gas station. There is no direct entrance for their lot. You need to drive into the gas station, then turn into their lot. Once you get there, there was a decent amount of indoor seating, but I could see capacity being a problem during busy hours. Everything I saw was pretty clean and well maintained.
