Thank you so much to Tad, Christa and Darnell at The Five Elements, who were a joy to work with. They were extremely patient while I took home sample after sample to be sure that I was making the right choice. Once I was ready to order, the process was simple, had the tiles within a few days! Not to mention, their prices were well below any I found in the greater San Diego area. They truly offer personal service, unlike the many large warehouse showrooms. I will recommend The Five Elements to friends and clients for all their tile/​flooring needs!

I recently did a kitchen remodel and had Christa @ The Five Elements help me in selecting my backsplash. She helped me select some great options that would work well with my kitchen.
I took them home but, was still unsure… Christa came to my home and gave me some solid advice that helped me make the right choice. She referred an awesome Tile contractor and now I am extremely happy that I found The Five Elements. They have wonderful selections that you can’t find elsewhere… and superb personalized service which was a huge bonus for me. Wish I had found them sooner!

Christa was amazing at helping me take my ideas and colors to create a sophisticated beach look that is exactly what we were looking for. They have a great selection of timeless items that are very current.

Best tile resource in North County! I’ve worked with Tad and Christa for many years. They are knowledgeable about their products and helpful with placing orders. They carry a great selection and have tiles that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I am happy to support a local business who knows how to work with the design community.

I never write reviews (there have been a few times that i have really wanted to write one but my best intentions were never realized – sorry Amazon Sellers.) But I digress… There is this great, local flooring store that might help any of you out there looking for a different tile buying experience. The Five Elements, in Carlsbad, is owned by Christa and Tad. Christa was friendly, knowledgeable and interested in finding the perfect laundry room tile that I would love (but who really cares about, let alone loves, their laundry room tile, right?). She picked out a tile that I wasn’t even going to bring home, but it had a shell-​like color and texture that fit exactly with the Beach Modern theme of our remodel. It turns out, once I got the sample home, I loved it! Go figure. Anyway, I bought tile for the entire remodel from The Five Elements because all the tile I bought was so unique and cool. I also like supporting local business and the tile looks like I had an unlimited budget (I definitely didn’t). I would recommend The Five Elements to anyone who has a surface to tile!

My husband and I highly recommend Five Elements. We absolutely love our flooring. Everyone we met was friendly, professional and helpful, especially Tad. Based on their location in Bressi Ranch, initially, we were concerned about pricing. They surprised us; they manufacture some of their own high quality products at reasonable prices. Our bathroom is gorgeous and we would definitely visit 5 Elements again.

As an interior designer it is a breathe of fresh air to find a showroom that not only cares about mine and my client’s needs, but provides a full service experience. They will assist in selecting the right finishes for your space, as well as handle all logistics from ordering, to follow up, quality control, delivery and proper installation recommendations. On top of that they are a husband and wife duo who are just the sweetest couple, honest, hard working. When there you get the Ma and Pa kind of feel with the 5 star service. A true joy to work with. What an incredible find!!! If you’re looking to update your kitchen, bath, bedroom, living room, etc., this place has an amazing assortment of reasonably priced tiles and stone! I spent an hour just browsing and sorting through their samples and display units. I have literally been to over 20 showrooms in San Diego and I can confidently say this place tops them all. The customer service is absolutely superb, I love how they’re on top of all the latest trends, and it’s a no pressure environment to browse and create your dream space! Thanks to these guys, I’m thinking of kick starting a few more projects because of their incredible, inspiring selection and prices!

I’m so thankful that I found the five elements! I’ve just opened a business in carlsbad and was worried that I would not be able to do the improvements at the price I could afford! I was wrong! I found more than enough beautiful designs and the prices couldn’t be beat!

When I saw these stones, I just loved the look. When they arrived I placed a few squares on the living room floor, so I could walk over them.
I was very happy with the look of this product once it was complete.
It is beautiful and will add to the spa feeling of my new bathroom as well !!!

My husband and I recently decided to remodel our master bathroom. We’ve always admired the young and modern designs in Dwell magazine and hotels such as the W and Hard Rock. The first step for us was to pick out the perfect tile and stone, but we were disappointed at what we were finding until we walked into The Five Elements. After looking at just a couple of their design boards, we knew we’d found the right place. The hardest part was picking out the tile we liked the most. Their very knowledgeble and friendly staff helped my husband and I coordinate the textures/​colors of our wall tile, floor tile, and backsplash so they would all compliment each other while having enough contrast so it isn’t overwhelming. We absolutely love our new master bath! We truly couldn’t have done it without The Five Elements’ fantastic staff and amazing selection. They will absolutely be our first stop on our next remodel.

We recently bought a home with 7 bathrooms, all in great need of significant remodel. Then we decided to update the kitchen. Before we knew it, we were remodeling the entire house. Thank goodness for the Five Elements. Without their stylistic expertise and reasonable prices, our home remodel never would have gotten off the ground. Their in-​house design team worked with our interior designer to come up with designs for each of the bathrooms, kitchen, granny flat kitchen and deck, and two fireplaces. The designs feature beautiful tile and stone products that are clean, fresh, and unique. We feel so lucky to have discovered the File Elements and would highly recommend the company to anyone looking to spice up their home.

This is the perfect source for adding that extra unique touch to a home remodeling project. There’s a huge selection of materials & ideas to choose from. They were more than willing to give me great advice on my remodel project when I needed it the most, since it can be a little over-​whelming for me as a «do-​it-​yourselfer’.

We started a little renovation in our home. and if you have done this before you know that the little things add up. We have a galley style kitchen and we thought that we wouldn’t have to spend so much on tile materials because let’s face it we don’t need much. 30sf here 30sf there… I like many renovating homeowners watch HGTV like it’s going out of style and well I saw a kitchen that I could just die for and it had the most beautiful tile backsplash. So I was on a mission I can have the same look, until I went to Lowes and saw that each PIECE was $ 20.00 ++a square foot. Um $ 600.00++ for a back splash I think not!!!
I knew I could find this tile somewhere else so I did some research and happened to stumble upon an online wholesaler who happened to be in Southern California, (so I called) who happened to be in San Diego, who happened to be right around the corner from where I work. As I walked in to this office space I was greatly surprised by the sheer beauty of what they had to offer. All the new and up and coming tile materials you could think of all in this showroom. The Five Elements is by far the nicest place I have been to here in San Diego I thought for sure this was going to be a spendy trip. I was WRONG they had exactly what I wanted for a phenomenal price. I ended up doing my kitchen and bathroom and now we are thinking about doing 1 more bathroom.
If you are looking for innovative tile from the floor to the walls you should check this place out! Ask for Tony he was awesome!
PS they always have sales it’e worth the trip trust me!
