It’s nestled in a newly developed part of Carlsbad. It’s a bit sad and over developed. No scenery, lots of gravel, it’s just kind of ugly. Good place to jog/bike I guess. But did find extremely tame lizard, who gave 0 fucks about me being there lol

Short trail near the border of Carlsbad and San Marcos. Good for dogs and ample parking in the the free parking lot off Paseo Escuela and Poinsettia Lane. To get to the park, drive as if you were going to Carrillo Elementary. Then make a right into the parking lot. The entrance to the trail is at the end of the parking lot on the west most side. There is a map, dog poop bags and garbage cans.
