I went to this Panera for the first time yesterday and the service was lacking. The menu above the cashier says you can get a 2 for 1(½ sandwich and a soup). Underneath it states that you can get ½ a pannini and a soup and then below that they show the Thai won ton soup including a picture of the soup. The menu is completely misleading because it led me and my friend to think we could get ½ pannini sandwich and the Thai soup. My bill rang up to over $ 16! I admit I should have questioned the cashier immediately about the amount when she rang it up. I went ahead and paid for it but when I questioned the cashier, her response was rather snotty. She said«I don’t write the rules» and that the 2 for 1 does not include any of the broth soups. What! Their signage does not make that clear at all! I bet they pull in lots of additional revenue from unsuspecting customers with their misleading menu. Please be aware that the 2 for 1DOESNOT apply if you want to combine ½ sandwich with one of the«broth» soups. By the way, the Thai soup is not that great. The won ton had a weird, pasty texture to it. Other than the cozy ambiance of the place, I did not like the attitude of the cashier and will avoid this place going forward.

I really like the location of this place and the layout on the inside of the place. It’s warm and welcoming. I feel like I can jump on my laptop at this location and dine in without interruption. Compared to another location just a few minutes from this place it doesn’t feel congested with tables and chairs being to close. Front cashier customer service was good. We ordered pastries and bread. Pastries were fresh and delicious, including our French baguette with my all time favorite sauce. Only recommendation I could make that they should keep the bathrooms a bit cleaner. The bathroom wasn’t really clean, trash on the floors, and toilet paper rolls weren’t filled.

Just watched two fat asses eat their whole meal then ask for a manager. Then informed him they were not happy with the meal and are going to get a voucher for another free meal. Watched the lady get up and struggle to waddle to grab another soda with her stomach so low it practically is a elephant toe. As the management left I hear them talking about how they liked it. Ugh hate this stupid ass customer always right mentality. Yes this rating is accurate. Food is OK just pricey

Vast improvement over several months ago, new manager is definitely cleaning it up! Yes they run out of things and it sucks but this isn’t McDonald’s, they don’t have frozen precooked food.

Fantastic food, Chris was amazing. Breakfast souffles were ordered ahead of time. They were perfect and the service was wonderful. It was a great addition to holiday brunch.

While the food is good, the service here is lacking. 90% of the time I order online, they forget to pack my pastry order :(So make sure to check all the contents before you leave! They also run a bit behind on online pickup orders during the lunch rush so make sure to set your pickup time 5 – 10 minutes earlier than you arrive. There have been a few times where I come around 4:00PM and there is no one to help me. I stood at the register for a solid 5 minutes, then left because it was deserted.

I usually love Panera but I was seriously disappointed today with this location. I ordered a Panini and Mac and cheese and asked for it To Go. I got home to see the smallest sandwich ever that was messy, poorly made and soggy. I ate it less than 10 min after picking it up so it wasn’t sitting out for a long time. Definitely not a $ 10 meal and a waste of my money. Very disappointed Panera!

Starting off this review I will state that I love Panera as the company stands for good charitable causes and their food offers a good variety of healthy choices. But this location seems to have problems almost every time we come here. I guess I’m not surprised at how low the ratings of this location have fallen to. I love using the Panera App to have my food ready for pickup but this location has consistently messed up in either the order not being ready(I waited 40 minutes one time for«rapid pickup») or waiting for someone to locate my order or f the order is up front or in back or they are out of an item I ordered and hold up the order while I wait by the pickup location waiting for an answer. The app should know the inventory and the workers should be more helpful. So, after the fourth or fifth problem at this location, my patience is up and I will have to move to a location further from my house or an alternate place for my business. So sad.

This Panera is probably… wait… yeah, the worst Panera I have been to. I normally do Rapid Pick Up because I work nearby and there is LITERALLY something wrong EVERYTIME. Whether they forget to put something in my bag, are out of stock of an item, or fail to even put the bag out on the shelf, there is always something wrong. It’s funny because they strive for«accuracy.» They are usually out of items but do not say so online. I gave you my number so call me if you need to change something. Don’t wait till I get there to start my order. I have gone in to order as well and the cashier doesn’t listen. I asked for a drink twice and she followed by asking if I would like a drink three more times. Seriously Panera? I really am tired of it. Your food is good and your location is great. I hate to break it to you, but you staff sucks. Please change SOMETHING.

What’s the point of having a Rapid pickup option, if it isn’t ready in 10 minutes and placed in the Rapid Pickup shelf. The last three times I’ve ordered Rapid Pickup, I have had to wait for it after the 10 minute deadline. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and the employees are oblivious to what is going on. The food is always good though, so I will be looking for a new panera location.

Ryan was the cashier that greeted me today when I came for lunch to this new-ish Panera off Palomar Airport Rd. Located in a new shopping center right off El Camino it’s in a great location. Perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after hitting the gym. Ryan was very pleasant and smiled as I approached. Was patient with my indecisiveness as to what I wanted. Also, helped me to ensure I got my $ 2 off my pick 2 combo which I thought was cool! Inside its cool, good spot for families and little kiddos, too. Very casual. Great spot to post up and study if you’re still in school or studying for a certification. They do have outside seating if you’re wanting to soak up the sun and they also have some very nice shaded areas if you’re one of the not so fortunate lobster folk as I like to call them(you get what’s called the instaburn aka look like a lobster within 5 minutes of contact with sun). If you’re not a Panera Card member, it definitely pays off every now and then. The rewards aren’t thaaaat frequent but it think it’s nice to get rewarded and it keeps me coming back. I ordered their chicken and avocado Cobb salad and the Napa almond chicken salad sandwich pick two combo, total of $ 8.73 with my coupon. Comes with a side of a French baguette but there are other options like and apple and chips I believe. Food took approximately 5 minutes to come out and was delivered to the table with a smile. Overall, great experience! Food is fresh as always, and just delicious! Very happy customer.

After this mornings experience I will not be returning back. you are a go to breakfast restaurant, what breakfast restaurant runs out of the vast majority of their breakfast items at 7:30am? Yes, at 7:30am they were down to only 4 bagel types and scrapping the bottom of the bins on those. Cahiers response was we had a lot of people order bagels… again it’s 7:30am. I asked about the souffles since there were none out and the cashier stated that they hadn’t made anymore for the day yet. Ended up ordering a sandwich just to get something. Only to find one person making them with at least 5 on the board while two other people kept walking around not really paying attention. forget it, if I want lunch there are plenty of options around, if I want breakfast I will go to starbucks

Very nice place for lunch. Went here on a Friday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Parking lot is small and shared with many other businesses and I could see parking being an issue on busy weekends. Staff seemed to be friendly and service was good. We got our food quickly without any problems. They have many sweets at the front where you order that look really good. The cinnamon rolls look a little dry, but I didn’t try them. At Panera, you order your food, take a seat and number and sit and wait for them to bring your food. They have Pepsi products here as well as Iced Teas. Broccoli Cheddar Soup was really good and creamy. Chipotle Chicken Panini had the perfect spice and a decent amount of chicken. Comes with a side of French Baguette, which was crisp on the outside and soft inside. It goes great with the soups. There are many tables here to sit at. Some booths and a section to wait if you are taking your food to go. They have options to get a half of a sandwich and a cup of soup if you don’t have a great appetite. You can also get a whole sandwich and bowl of soup if you feel inclined. There is also a shaded area outside to eat with less comfortable seats.

The only reason I rated it this high was the quality of the food. The dining tables were all, I mean ALL, filthy. I cleaned my own table. There were some flies that were mimicking the nearby airport. The cashier was very bossy. I will not be coming back to this location anytime soon.

Review is for this location only: 1st complaint. I was here a little before 9:30 am and wanted a cheese soufflé. I asked when there would be more available and was told they are not making anymore for the day. The soufflé is a breakfast item. Who stops serving breakfast before 9:30? I was also told the next time I could call in ahead to put on on hold … seriously? I would think 10:30 — 11:00 would be the time where breakfast items come off the menu. 2nd complaint. The line was to the door and only one person at the counter taking orders. The manager needs to be on top of something as basic as this. Customer service as a #1 priority. 3rd complaint, and this is becoming all to common in California, people bringing there dogs in the restaurant. One lady was holding a lap dog while putting creamer in her coffee. That is also the same place where people were heating their pastries. My wife made a complaint to the manager but the lady claimed her 5″ tall dog, tucked in her jacket hiding spot, was a «service dog». The dog should have been left outside. If the lady did have some condition which required a service dog I’m sure the adult friend accompanying her would have been able to help. People«claiming» their dog is a «Service Dog» make like difficult for people who really do have and need service dogs. The Panera corporation needs to read the other reviews in the thread and take some action. People in general don’t seem to be happy with this location. The store in Carlsbad off Calle Barcelona or the one in Vista run or the one in Vista are excellent when it come to customer service.

Really rude and annoying service this time. I didn’t know if you order online that they have it waiting for you at the front on a shelf. Great idea but I’m sorry, I didn’t know. And the girl who«helped» me, made me out to feel like a total idiot for not knowing. I was very annoyed and it’ll probably be awhile before I go back here.

I only keep coming back because it is so convenient to my work for lunch and I can order online instead of waiting in line. But 9⁄10 times I come here, I am disappointed and end up waiting even longer! Like today for example, I ordered online and it gives you 10 minutes until it’s ready… not today. I got there a couple minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready since every other time they’re a couple minutes late, but I ended up waiting 10 extra minutes. And when I get back to my work, not only did they not give me any napkins, the latte I ordered with 2 extra shots, was basically roomk temperature milk. Why even have an espresso machine if you can’t make any sort of espresso drink?! I’m going to use my two rewards next time then never go back. This place isn’t cheap enough anymore to put up with inconsistent service.

The current 2.5 star review is pretty rough for Panera. I usually only go when I get a gift card. Their menu has a lot of choices that sure look good it’s the quality that is lacking. We had the pick two with the thai chicken salad and the turkey BLT. We also tried the new chicken soba broth bowl. I like the new soba option as it was quite tasty. I don’t recommend the thai chicken salad as the ingredients were lacking in quantity. Our BLT sandwich was missing the bacon so they brought us a full new sandwich with a lot of bacon, which was great customer service. I like Panera slightly better than the current review but I wouldn’t seek it out. Your meal can add up quickly and you can get a much better value of soups and salads at Souplantation, minus all the sandwich options.

I ordered the usual. Bacon turkey bravo and a soup. Food came out 20 minutes later. .not too terrible if it were busy… but no… there were MAYBE5 people. I got over that… But… Cold soup. …really…not even room temperature. Straight up, cold. How did you NOT realize that the soup wasn’t producing heat when you served it… Fail. Wow. Update: instead of replacing my soup for fresh HOT soup… the«waitress» had the gall to pop my soup in the microwave. She didn’t even get me a new bowl! Never. EVER. Coming back I couldn’t even eat the soup. I just paid 12 dollars for a sandwich…
