Nekter Juice Bar

The juices are good. I know that it takes time to juice fresh juices as I do it at home. I have been there several times first thing in the morning and several times they open late. This day it was 7:26 and I was getting out of my car and saw two young employees walking to the back door and one said «Dude, I have been here since 6:45» This must have been the employee that did not have keys to open and the person that did overslept. By the time I locked my car and got my bag they were in the door and had locked it so when I got up to that door I could not get in and walked around. I then got to the front and they were just opening that door as another person was waiting. I was first to order but received my juice 3^rd as well as I ordered a 24 oz and got a large. I know stuff happens, but with the crew there sometimes «service» isn’t the top priority, but they have great juices. Hopefully the responsibility level of some of the employees improve. If I were the owner and my shop opens late several times I would be very upset.

Absolutely love this place! I love the cleanse too. I have done them 3 times and it is a great way to reset. I highly recommend this juice bar!

great, healthy food with a large variety of smoothies — cleansing juices to dense protein shakes. Nice atmosphere, super-​friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the portions, which is unusual for dedicated juice bars. My new first choice!

The kids who work there crack me up. They alway puts me in a good mood. Place is super cute and clean. Looks straight out of a Pinterest board. Anyway, I’m addicted to the PB bowl. Just get it.

I was a little nervous about trying this place out based on a few of the reviews, but I’m so glad I gave this place a chance! It looks like the owner has resolved the problems others were complaining about. I haven’t waited more than maybe 5 mins for any order I’ve placed, and that’s even with a line in front of me. The employees are quick to greet me and let me know they’ll be right with me if they’re working on something at the moment. I also loved their gift card promo they ran in December, such a great deal, basically 20% of free product! Going here is way more convenient than juicing at home, and it’s better tasting. Since it’s on my way to work, the time it takes for them to whip up my juice –vs– the time it takes for me to shop for produce, wash everything, juice it, and clean the juicer… Yeah, no contest! Definitely give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Always love juice places! I love Nekters juices and acai bowls. Always super fresh and tasty. Quite pricey but what Juicery isn’t?!

I’m a fan of this Nekter location because it’s by my training gym and I’d stop here after the gym. The toxin flush is a great choice after a weekend of bad eating and I also get the acai bowl here when I didn’t have time to eat at home. The great thing is that it’s a very generous amount. I can hardly finish it and I’m not complaining either, I love eating it as a snack later.
My new obsession is the pitaya bowl! Definitely a must try!

Yesterday morning I was helped with sweet service! The girl working was super friendly, smiley, genuine, and fun. I was looking for a post-​workout drink and considering to place an order of «Date Nut», and I asked her for advice and she gave me some good suggestions so I ended up ordering «Health Nut».
HEALTH NUT: You can choose peanut butter or almond butter, with banana, housemade vanilla cashew milk, pea protein, and agave nectar.

While I was waiting for my drink she was talkative and outgoing which was cool and my drink came out in good time. One sip of it and I was hooked again (I’m always hooked on Nekter)!

This place is very good. Nice décor and good smoothies. But… The toilet in the bathroom is always neglected. It’s dirty as if hasn’t been wiped in weeks… Almost like a gas station toilet seat. No point of making good smoothies if your bathrooms are dirty. But overall… I will come back.

I’ve been a juice snob for a few years now and can confidently say that This place is at the top of my list. Always VERY fresh and delicious. Their pricing is also affordable, unlike a few of the other local spots such as Fully Loaded. Great ingredient combos and the inside is great too. It’s not a huge place, and it can can a bit crowded during the high traffic hours. It might be a little too loud for some people to get work done, but other than that this place is a gem! There’s a nice selection of juices already made in the cooler as well.

This location is awesome! The store is larger, and bright, and I love the décor. Fun vintage items, crisp white subway tile, baskets full of fresh produce. It is very visually appealing!
I came in on a Saturday morning for a pitaya bowl and the girls working were friendly and happy to help. And really, what sealed the 5-​star deal is how quickly my bowl was made. 3 minutes! I couldn’t believe it! I’ve waited 10 – 15 at other locations so this was awesome.

So on with my new obsession, I came here after work craving a lean mean green smoothie machine. I’m obsessed with the greens and after having heard so many people speaking of the place I stopped in.
I fell in love! which I tend to do when it comes to healthy nourishing things for the body. I walked in, a little awkwardly taking it all in. The plants, the pre-​made to go juices and natural snacks and decided to go with the green apple detox (exactly what I needed after all the wine & food I ate and drank last night). It was amazing! It tasted good, although warm and it made my body feel so good!
The only downside I have to this place is that there’s a giant «we’re hiring» sign at the door and I could tell by the way the younger boy behind the cash wrap got flustered with all of my questions. He was still sweet though! Which is great and the girl training him seemed to know all the answers.
I would have liked a more through explanation of things, ie: the plant leaf by the drinks labeled mean they’re a favorite by most. But it was still great. Only other thing was my juice was warm and I prefer it cold but that’s preference & im not sure many places do it cold anyway!

Great juice bar. Fresh green juices and the Heath nut smoothie is delicious. Options include multiple juice options, smoothies, wheat grass, and Acai bowls. Definitely a place worth trying again and again.

There aren’t too many places for a good Acai bowl in the area, but Nekter is a decent spot to scratch that itch. Juice Bars sell luxury foods, so I can’t knock the price against it. They do a mean Kale drink that pairs perfectly with my high intensity routines; I see tons of yoga faithful here for that energy pick-​up untainted by processed sweeteners.
The venue has that stark model house look and the chairs are abnormally heavy (feels like lifting the Titanic wreckage), not to mention it’s a bit small. I generally like my juice bars a little spacier and more well lit, but like I said there aren’t other quality options closer than Hillcrest.
Oh, and stay away from the pre-​packaged drinks. They are overpriced and not worth it.

So happy that a Nekter opened near my place! I love their menu and I highly recommend trying out different items. So far, I’ve tried their acai and pitaya bowl and their pitaya smoothie! Both acai and pitaya bowls were delicious and they were topped off with a generous amount of fresh ingredients. I really like how they use milk for the bowls and it gives a creamy texture (other places tend to use fruit juices). Out of the two bowls, if you have a sweet tooth — go for the pitaya bowl since the fruit is naturally already sweet.
Their pitaya smoothie is also worth trying! It comes with pitaya (surprise, surprise), pineapples, strawberries, agave, and coconut water. As if the smoothie wasn’t delicious enough to drink, the color (bright bright fuchsia) makes it even more pleasant — is it possible to drink with your eyes? If so, then I have! :)

Yipee! A place I can get my acai fix right next to work.
Seriously, my only complaint is that the parking lot can be a bit crazy around lunch time so parking is a bit of a life hazard. But that’s nothing Nekter can control. I got the Acai Banana Berry Bowl and it hit the spot. I love that it comes with honey on top of the granola because at most places they either don’t have it or it’s extra! I’ll be coming back here to try out the other bowls and maybe even try some of the juice blends!

I love this place and I absolutely love the acai banana berry bowl! I’ve been coming here frequently can because it is the closest açai place to my house! The fruit is always fresh, the smoothie part is consistent, and the granola here is to die for. I love how it is healthier than other big name acai places because they use milk instead of Apple juice, and it’s cheaper too! You will not be disappointed! And in fact you might get just as addicted as I got!
This location specifically is clean and big and has very friendly staff.
It’s nice having a stamp card because after a while you get a free juice!

Remember the first time we locked eyes across the room. I was inside of you (I didn’t mean it like that, sorry. You are a store, kind of) and so happy to be there because you looked so fresh and happy. I like that you don’t have a long list of offerings; you keep it short and sweet — a few juices, a few bowls, a few smoothies — end of story. No, not our story. Our story is just beginning.
I was on vacation and you knew it and you buttered me up by having your employees ask what I wanted. You’re so clever. I started with a Tropical Bowl on our first date and it was pretty much fireworks (you know it) everywhere.
I ended up showing up every day for a week and each time we got closer. On our third date, you passed me a Popeye’s Acai smoothie and we reached another level together. I don’t know what else happened the rest of the torrid week. It was me and you, you and I and Tropical Bowls everywhere.
I know it was only a week that we spent together, but I think we are in love. I know you feel the same way even if you can’t talk because you are a store. I can still see it in your eyes. You are clean, raw, fresh and healthy and you train your employees well. They took care of me every day and I never found that it took too long for what I was ordering. Yes, some days I ordered 6 things (everyone behind me shot darts with their eyes at me) because my kids got hooked too. I forgot to tell you I have kids, sorry, but they love you too.

Nekter is awesome. They have some of the best smoothies and juice selections around. I’m excited that they opened this location in Bressi Ranch as I used to have to go to Encinitas to get my juice fix… Customer service at this location is good, smoothies, bowls and juices are fantastic! I would recommend trying out the entire menu and switching off between items until you find your favorite. Soooo many good options.
