If you’re in the mood for something a little bit different than you’re used to, or just want to step out of the hot sun for a moment, this is a great ride to try out. If you’re familiar with the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland then you’ll have a pretty good idea of what to expect from this one because it’s a similar format. In this case, you sit in a cart and take a ride through an Egyptian tomb. You’ll stumble across a series of entertaining adventure scenes skillfully constructed from Lego bricks. Your cart is equipped with laser guns and you and your partner will have the opportunity to fire at various targets throughout your journey to compete for the highest score. My only gripe is that I think the ride should be a little bit longer given the ride’s tendency to build long lines quickly, and the laser targets are surprisingly difficult to hit for a children’s ride. This is not the sort of ride that would be fun to ride alone, but it’s certainly a good time if you’ve got a few friends with you, and kids seem to absolutely love it!
