Hair By Francis

I recently purchased a groupon for a cut & deep conditioning with Francis. I was very happy with the way she cut my hair, I’m very particular about my bangs being cut too short. She did an excellent job, I love my bangs & cut! I will be returning to her again ;)

I have worn short hair for the majority of my life, and have spent the last 5ish years growing it out. In that time, I just thought I was destined for bad haircuts since I was never able to find someone who knows how to cut long hair that has movement and body, without looking like a mullet. I had just resolved to cutting my own hair, which I’ve been doing the last two years. (Relax, I’m a hairstylist!) I moved in next door to Francis, and she tried several times to get me to come get a real hair cut. I was finally so desperate after trusting someone else and getting a botch job, and went to Francis to have her fix the mess on my head. Not only is there no trace of that weed whacker job, but it is seriously the best hair cut I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve never been able to take my hair down from a bun and have it look like I’m ready for a night on the town. Ask for the Tigi haircut if you have long hair and want tons of layers and movement. Thanks Francis! I love it!

Worst experience ever! I would give 0 stars if I could! I literally made a tell account just to let people know how horrible this woman is at doing hair. I came in and asked for highlights and lowlights. I asked her to match my previous ones bc I just needed a touch up… She absolutely did not do that. There are many sections of my hair that are half blonde and half red! One side has waaay more highlights than the other. She started the color about an inch from my roots. My hair is now pink in places!!! So, I called to have her fix it and she said I would have to pay for the product she uses! I already paid $ 100. Why should I pay to fix her mistake? She blamed it on my long and thick hair– but if she couldn’t do it she should have said so!!! Now I have to go to a real salon to get it fixed. I am going to call my bank about getting my money back… I will post pictures for you all to see!

She’s a life saver! I got a pretty haircut w/​highlights :) She’s very good at what she does. She’s super nice & friendly. She got a nice cozy place. She’s a great hairstylist & will definitely be back!

What a great stylist! I bring my 2 boys (10 & 12) and they love her. My youngest can’t wait for the next one so he can get his «head massaged». Always get compliments with their hair… and mine.

I’m in love the process of going from my natural dark brown/​red hair to blonde. It is a hard thing to do since my hair always wants to turn some shade of strawberry. Francis did a great job helping me in this transition. I highly recommend her.

Francis is funny, friendly and very professional! I told her what I wanted and she was very honest and accommodating. She is gentle and her shop is very comfortable! I could not be happier with the work Francis has done on my hair and I am always happy to go to her when I am in Carlsbad. I highly recommend her!!!

Let me tell you I have been going to Francis for a couple years now. Shes always friendly, and usually can fit me in for appointments on same day or next day. I usually just get a trim and blow out. She does everything from color and style and Brazilian blow out. Quick and easy.
This place she is located at is pretty cool. Like a one stop shop for beauty. Its Sola Salon. Individual rooms or mini suites. You can get mani, pedi, facials. All of it. Francis is super nice and professional. Give her a try.
