Impressed with this shop. We’re just getting into brewing and the owners took their time to explain some basics with us. They will even prepare and mill your grains before you come in so you can grab, pay and go. The small tasting room is an added benefit as you can trade recipes and learn from other home brewers and beer enthusiasts. They also carry the grainfather in stock and have free classes monthly. Highly recommended and encourage you to patronize this small business.

Passion for brewing? Carlsbad brewing has that one two punch you maybe looking for.
Located in the Industrial park along El Camino Real and Faraday Ave. The brewery is next door to Acacia Brewing and On The Tracks brewing.
When walking in, you take a short trip through the home brew supply area. I really recommend if your interested in a home brewing kit to speak with the owners who are knowledgeable and really willing to share experiences and wisdom.
Passing through to the bar, you have a small wet bar with a personal touch. The most sort after brew is the Cream Ale. I really really like this brew and worth it!

I love Guadalupe Brewery! I’m so happy they moved into the Carlsbad neighborhood! I can’t say enough about Lisa and Raul’s hospitality — they welcome you into the tasting room as though you were stopping by their home for a visit. I do not brew beer (yet), and I have always preferred stouts and strongly disliked sours. However, Raul talked me into trying the Kaxtilchili Rye Saison, then the Chile Sour. Both beers, especially the Chile Sour, blew me away; everything I thought I knew about my taste was turned upside down! I now prefer Sours and Saisons over Stouts! Today I took the Basic Brewing Class at the tasting room and we brewed a Pineapple Hefeweizen. I can’t wait to start brewing at home.

I am not a brewer, I simply love enjoying the fruits of other;s labors. In this case, Carlsbad Brew Supply has the best of both worlds. You can see and pickup, if you are so inclined, most any type of brewing supply you may need. You can also sample the owners in house brews in their private tasting room. I have been there a few times for the brews. They offer a great variety. Something to fit most all tastes you could say. From a Vanilla ale to IPA, an Imperial Stout to even a spicy sour… you can satisfy that craft beer urge here. OK, Well maybe not an urge, but you can certainly sample some great beers and get setup to make your own.

I go here all the time… Super knowledgeable and friendly… Great yeast and grain selection. They also hold private tastings of their own brew, and they are excellent! It’s a new place in Carlsbad to procure homebrew supplies, and that’s always nice!

I stopped by Carlsbad Brew Supply a few weeks ago to pick up some ingredients for a Pale Ale with Ginger that I was brewing. As expected they had all the malts, extract and yeast that I needed. I was however very appreciative of the openness and conversation I had with the owner. One of the best things about a good home brew store is that you can discuss recipes and all things brewing and I found that here. The owner is a professional brewer and the prices are good. I will be back soon.
