Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza

Delicious, exciting and fast. First time here and the first employee I saw did a great job explaining the concept. I chose to make my own pie and it was so freaking good I had to resist going back for another. Luckily these pies are the perfect size for one hungry adult.

Travelling down to Carlsbad with the kiddo to Legoland, we stopped to do some shopping and came across this gem. Apparently it’s a chain. Who knew?
All I know is GREAT concept (subway-​like make-​your-​own pizza), GREAT food (I mean it’s no New York pie, but still), and GREAT GREAT service!

Love this place! I built my own pizza and was able to make it exactly how I like it! Their variety of toppings were expertly fresh and full of flavor! They even have vegan options! I loved the service and how fast my pizza was ready! I wish this place was closer to my home, I would definitely be eating there everyday! The personal style pizza prices are very decent and the portion is perfect-​it wasn’t too over whelming and wasn’t not enough. Definitely recommend this place to anyone going looking for a quick but to eat or if you’re craving a really amazing pizza!

Pizza made with white sauce, all of the cheeses, salami, bacon, artichoke hearts, olives, roasted garlic, and chopped garlic. It has Greek and Italian flavors and meld well together. It’s a great option if you have any issues with tomatoes or tomato sauce due to the acidity. All of the cheeses might make your crust a little softer than usual but it still tastes wonderful. Meat Lovers pizza made with spicy red sauce, ham, salami, olives, sautéed onions, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. The supreme of supreme pizzas with just enough cheese and sauce peeking out. Yes, this is definitely a manly pizza — overly meaty with just enough vegetables to make mamma happy. Rating: ⁵⁄₅
S’mores are a great way to end your Blaze Pizza experience. Warmed in the pizza oven until the chocolate and marshmallow starts to melt. Ooey, gooey goodness sandwiched between two McVitie’s wheatmeal biscuits. After one bite, you’ll want s’more! Rating: 4.5÷5

Absolutely love the place, those create the pizzas as we tell them what we would like are very friendly and spark conversation!

If you’re looking for a fast, reasonably priced hot meal, this is your place. It’s essentially the subway of pizza but obviously way more awesome being that it’s pizza. You choose your dough, sauce, and toppings and 180 seconds later you have your beautiful pizza creation. It was kid-​friendly but also served beer and wine. Great place to stop after shopping in the outlet mall.

It is the same idea as a subway but in a pizza. You can also pick one that its pre-​made and take off and add what you wish.
Employees are very friendly and fast at attending customers.

Delicious custom-​made pizza with unlimited toppings! To conserve your neurons, you can always choose from their pizza menu. What I did was to pick one from the menu and add a couple of extra ingredients to finish the pizza.
I had the White Top which includes a white cream sauce base, mozzarella, bacon, garlic, arugula and dried oregano. On top of that I added olives, ovalini mozzarella (fresh mozzarella balls), mushrooms and Canadian bacon. My pizza was bomb! They added the arugula after it’s out of the oven so it was raw and fresh! What a scrumptious and healthy pie there!
Also tried their BBQ chicken which was just alright. I don’t think Gorgonzola goes too well with BBQ chicken flavors… Their banana peppers are some interesting ingredients though!
I like how they have so many different, and a few unusual, toppings to choose from. The firing was quick and our pizzas were brought to us to the table. The staff were friendly and efficient, even came to check on us about the food and ask to clear our table!
Prices are affordable. Don’t forget to use the discount from the outlet VIP coupon book that you can get by checking in to the outlet. They have discounts on $ 10+ purchase at Blaze!

Great pizza! I love the pick and choose what you want style! This place has a great location, and tons of traffic! It’s nice that they take the time to explain how to order and all the toppings you can choose.
The crust was good, had that nice snap and great foldability! Toppings were all fresh and colorful.
The only thing I would like to see, a pesto.

Great pie, great price. You really can’t go wrong ordering anything from Blaze. Even though you can build your own pizza, which is always tempting, but never underestimate the flavor combinations the chef created for you. I for one will never put more than 3 toppings on a pizza! Have tried pretty much all the combos from the menu and they are all pretty delicious, and at $ 8 it’s a steal considering the location; mall food is usually disgusting and $$$. I love how thin the crust is, just how I like my pizzas. It’s also super quick and super convenient. Should also mention that you can grab a beer or a glass of while with your pizza. I see lots of husbands hanging out here while their wives shop.

I came here looking for a quick dinner after shopping at the outlets. What’s better than tasty, multi-​topping, customizable personal sized pizzas?
The «Create Your Own» choice allows you to start with several sauce choices and end with any number of toppings. You can tell the staff to put as much or as little as you want. It is pretty much exactly the same as Pieology if you have been there.

This is definitely the our «go to» pizza locally! When you have pizza this good — it’s really difficult to go anywhere else!
We have also visited the location on Balboa in San Diego — which we prefer. Both are «woof friendly» but the patio on Balboa is gated and more expansive which we like when taking our dog along.
Not that everyone is into branding — but I love their logo and slogan (look carefully at these things on your visit)…in addition to their food, pricing and overall concept.
I would be surprised if you were disappointed…

This place is amazing!!! They make your pizza as you order it and you are eating it within 10 minutes! You add as many toppings as you want for no additional price. They have tons of different toppings as well. Their crust is thin and crispy and it is perfectly cooked.
Customer service is great! They went through the entire menu and ordering process for us. There are a few tables outside and many of seats inside. They have Coke fountain drinks or lemonade. You can also buy salads at the counter. You would think you are at Subway when ordering because this is how you choose your toppings.
Parking is scarce at the mall on busy days so be prepared to walk. Definitely give this place a visit on your next pizza craving and you will not be disappointed.

Ok first of all why is this the first time I’ve been here?! I’ve lived in Carlsbad for a little over a year and we finally decided to step foot in Blaze. Boy let me tell you, I am impressed.
First of all, I can create my own personal pizza with all the toppings I want for one solid price?! It’s like the subway of pizza joints only a hundred times better because, well. There’s all the toppings you could want for your pizza.
My husband and I were initially going to share one, but come on. You need to have your own. Create your own art piece. It will fill you up!
Located in the Carlsbad premium outlets, after a long day of shopping the last thing you want to do is wait a while for your food when you are hungry. Blaze will cook your pizza in 180 seconds. You tell the employee exactly what you want on your pizza and boom, in the oven and out it goes. Absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients and amazing customer service.

When faced with the other options at the outlets, this place wins hands down!
Its all very fresh, quick and cheap which is exactly what you need at the outlets. Every employee offers service with a smile and they literally couldn’t do enough nice things for us.
We accidentally came on very busy on Pi day (any pizza for $ 3.14) but all were cheery and welcoming. PLUS What a cool promotion to offer — We were so impressed with the quality and limitless potential for such a small price! When I’m not exactly sure on a place, I love trying it cheaply so not a lot is lost if it doesn’t go well — this was one of those home run promotions!
There are SO many options from bases to sauces to toppings to cheeses. I love that you can come every weekend for a year and have something different! The suggested pizzas also sounded interesting and take the guess work out for those who are easily overwhelmed by choice.
All in all, my husband and I got two pizzas for less than $ 7 with the $ 3.14 pizza pi day promo and it was awesome!
So much meat and goodness on our pizzas and the spicy marinara is wonderful! The pizzas are thin crust so they came out super quick and they have many boxes for your take out!
Seriously just the perfect way to fuel your shopping spree!

I’ve been to many build your own pizza places, but so far Blaze is my favorite. You could order the standard pizza, but I prefer it custom. I think it’s the crust at Blaze that puts them above other joints.
Just like other fast pizza places, Blaze gets your pizza out within minutes and with whatever toppings you want on it. My advice is just to make it simple; otherwise, you’ll have a crowded pizza you’ll have to eat with a fork.
This location is in the Outlet mall, so parking is atrocious during peak hours.
